Vance is by far the best MAGA voice in the Senate-—which right there is reason NOT to take him. Mike DeWeenie would replace him with a RINO. Second, we don’t need OH. It’s a 10 point Trump win. Third, while Vance IS the best “fire insurance” (next to Vivek), Ben Carson can do the job almost as well.

No! Be strategic & politically savvy & pick a choice that counteracts assumptions from wobbly & wavering voters wobbly. You want to mitigate losses in female voters & shore up a the burgeoning minority voter community interested in Trump & choices other than just Democrats. Pick Tulsi Gabbard. She left the Democrats & is now campaigning against them, praises Trump & is an Independent female. She’s also smart, well spoken, beautiful, former military & combative wi t h Journalists. Please don’t pick the same type over & over again. If not Tulsi, how about Ramaswamy. Broaden our appeal beyond middle aged, white, Christian & rural voters. Be strategic 😉

Ramaswampy is not a natural born Citizen. He doesn’t qualify for Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5.
I don’t see how Vance helps the ticket. Trump needs to balance it by selecting someone from a state he needs (which none of them are) or by selecting an Hispanic (Rubio) or a black (Scott). Personally I’d go with Scott. That would help in PA, GA, MI and maybe WI. He just needs to win two of those states. GA is in the bag I think so he needs to win one of the other three.

Yes they do! They may not for the majority of people. I certainly don’t vote much based on VP, but I know quite a few people who who do- many women & minorities. It’s human nature to long to see yourself reflected fairly regularly in candidates for elections. Ignore it at our peril. I keep wondering when the majority of middle aged, White, male, Christian voters in the Republican Party are going to finally start to understand that.
If we were winning even 20-25% of the black vote, Democrats wouldn’t have a shot at winning. Republicans would no longer suffer from a potentially narrow path to victory. The reason Trump is up in the polls currently isn’t just because of eager white males- it’s because he’s polling good with minorities, females & the young. He needs to be smart & lean into it! 😉
