Former First Lady Melania Trump was snapped running around New York City with an extravagant handbag on her arm Tuesday, while her presidential hopeful hubby campaigns more than 1,200 miles away in Wisconsin.

Melania, wearing a head-to-toe all-white ensemble, was flanked by Secret Service guards as she ducked into Trump Tower.

The former model’s wedding band was on full display as she sported a matching white Hermes Birkin bag — which can fetch as much as $33,000 on the resale market.

The fashionista also appeared to be wearing Christian Louboutin flats, which retail for a comparatively reasonable $700.

High fashion isn’t my thing, but there are people who want to sport a distinctive look, and are able to pay for it. The high price is a reflection of quality in materials and workmanship, but, as in everything from a Michelin star restaurant to Costco membership, the idea is to make it inaccessible to the riff raff.

I worked for a guy (one of three owners) whose passion was cars. It’s reputed that he has a garage with about 30 cars in it. Even has his own lift for working on them. I personally have seen him with Corvettes, and a mint condition ‘65 Mustang. I have no jealousy towards the man, only respect- he worked for everything he has. And that’s how it should be.

If I looked like her and had the wealth she has I too would be buying the best. But what actually shines through is not her clothing or wealth but her meekness. She radiates quietness and humbleness considering the hell the demonRATS have made her go through. She is just absolutely lovely. God bless her and continue to give her wealth and health!

I’m told she speaks 5 languages. Farthest I’ve gone is 2 and a half. The half is Spanish. Back when I was dating my wife, I thought I’d pick up Spany. Not so, my MIL and FIL spoke Spanish only to their generation, and English to their kids and grandchildren…old school.

I was nearly fluent in German during my 4 year tour in the Army. I lived far off base, to the extent I rarely spoke English once I left work.

The other thing the left absolutely HATES about Melania is that she is a devout CATHOLIC. As is 90% of the country of Slovenia.

Of course, they also hate the fact that she is beautiful, poised, well spoken and does not make stupid statements.

It is claimed she can speak five or six languages. However, she may only be fluent in English and Slovenian. She can also speak some Italian, French, German and some Serbian.

I dont care about her bags. A guess would be that as a super model, she probably had access to this stuff at little or no cost to her. It would be valuable just to have her seen with it.

Someone paying that much of a handbag is nuts…but so isn’t paying $100k for a Corvette or big truck. If you have the money, have a ball.

People confuse price with value. If a product has value to you, the price becomes secondary.
