‘I’m an Anti-Establishment Republican,’ Insists Paul Ryan After Being Condemned as a ‘RINO’ by Trump

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan described himself as “an anti-establishment Republican” on Tuesday while defending himself from accusations of being a “RINO” on Fox News.

During an appearance on Fox News’ Your World, Ryan tore into former President Donald Trump, prompting host Neil Cavuto to shoot back, “Well, he doesn’t like you either.”

Cavuto then confronted Ryan – who, as the 2012 Republican vice presidential nominee, has long been seen by Trump supporters as a face of the Republican establishment – with a post Trump made calling him a “loser” and “a pathetic RINO [Republican in Name Only].”

What does that mean? There are anti-establishment democrats and anti-establishment communists and anti-establishment libertarians and anti-establishment people of all colors and religions and ideologies.

He's trying to defend his RINO-ness. He's anti-Trump and he's attacking without sounding anti-conservative, and trying to sound reasonable. There is no such thing as a reasonable RINO, and being a RINO is anti-republican. He hasn't been republican since he declared himself republican. Being anti-Trump is inexcusable to republicans who want to win the presidency back, so, declaring himself as anti-establishment is a way to excuse his wishy-washy attitude. Wishy-washy or middle-of-the-road or anti-establishment, ain't going to redeem himself. Traitor to the cause if more like it.
