Hard to see much but the general shapes remind me of Khmer script.

Looks challenging... could you move the light a little❓💥 😂 A bit of a rough surface - sandstone... I observe that the characters appear to be 'block' shaped - like Masoretic Hebrew - which dates back about 1200 years. Interesting 'alphabetic' concept.🤷♂️
