So, surveillance footage showed the rescuing couple but whoever abandoned the baby and when, is a mystery?
I retract my post. But I still wonder How it is unclear how long the baby had been there When they have a video with a likely time stamp.
They have the guy who abandoned the baby on video.
“Surveillance footage captured the moment the newborn baby was abandoned, showing a man scan around him before leaving the infant on the ground.
The same moment he places the child on the street, he sprinted from the scene at full pace, and police say they have since started an investigation to search for him.”
“The baby girl was then transported to a local hospital, where she was listed in good condition, according to KHOU. “
For anyone curious and not wishing to click on the link.
I wondered the same thing. It should not be mysterious or even uncertain.
And I thought it was cruel when puppies or kittens are left by the side of the road. This article says the infant was left ON the road...?
It’s Republicans and SCOTUS fault for not allowing safe and effective abortions.
How OLD are you? 12?
This is Texas. I am surprised an illegal alien would abandon their anchor baby (meal ticket to eternal welfare). Very surprising considering all the tourist birth that goes on.
At the least, there’s a good chance genetic genealogy will help identify the parents.
Don’t most states have no questions asked drop off for infants? You can just leave a baby at any fire house or police station, no questions asked.
Being able to save a newborn has probably put a little happiness in that couple’s week.
I recently caught a 50+ year-old episode of Adam-12 where a newborn baby was found in a trash can in an alley by a very helpful Chinese-American man out for walk in his Sunday best. However, I don’t recall whether it had a happy ending or not.
Prayers for that baby and for all abandoned and abused children.
It also sounds like a scene in the movie “Grand Canyon,” when a woman finds an abandoned infant in the woods while she’s jogging. The movie was awful, but that one scene was moving.
People in Katy are supposed to be better than that.
6 weeks is too harsh… djt. #EsrnMyProlifeVote
