BREAKING: LA City Council members have removed "No U-Turn" traffic signs in a gay neighborhood.
They say the signs were homophobic.
No, this is not satire.

U-Turns were legal from 6 AM to midnight. Only restricted Midnight to 6 AM.

In the “gayborhood” in my city, someone tagged a stop sign with the word “AIDS” under STOP. I felt like adding a follow-up tag “kill a fag,” but thought better of it.

I notice less advertisements this year. 2023 was peak pride. I've noticed too. The job sites and LinkedIn are usually awash in disgusting "pride" themes, but I've seen nothing this year.

Just like in Seattle, when the City Council abolished the rule that you must wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. Since a "disproportionate" number of blacks were being cited, they abolished the law. By the way, that law might have saved my life in an accident about 20 years ago.

Green Bay Packers posted the NFL logo with the pride colors on June 4 on social media and turned off the comments. Seemed like they posted out of obligation, not because they wanted to do it.

Now in construction zones of road repair, instead of signs warning “Raised Manhole”, they say , *Raised iron structures* or some such nonsense.
