Please. No. More. Senators! Something happens when a person becomes a senator. They turn into giant weasels. The corruption is absolute. They cannot be granted positions of executive power. Ever!

DT, being an ex- democrat, knows when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em.
I’m counting on it. God’s given him a mountain to climb. Pray for America!

“People in Glass Houses Don’t Throw Stones.”

This is the problem with Congress. It’s a big club and you ain’t in it(as George Carlin used to say).

Congress has a fund to protect themselves when they get sued. Lots of congress critters have been sued.
They protect each other. All but a few are compromised.

When you are elected Congress IF they do not already have dirt on you they try to entrap you. Madison Cawthorn got elected to the house from NC. As soon as he got there he was invited to a swingers party. Which, apparently have been going on for some time. He declined. So, they could not get anything on him to control his vote. He did not get the support to win his reelection and lost.

Cruz voted for fast track trade authority, and supported Goldman Sacs. It was Trump, and every other major canidate was a Globalist.

The first time Trump walked onto a debate stage, I knew he would be President. Woman’s intuition combined with decades-long admiration for his achievements. Even took the elevator up the first floors of Trump tower when visiting NYC. Amazing building and stores filled with incredible luxury goods.

His success in business, his TV show “The Apprentice” revealed his intelligence, ability to do incredible work, and what I considered and still do, his winning personality. Says exactly what he thinks and he’s usually right.

I like Vance a lot, and he has many qualies that would make him a good VP. Rags to riches story, some national recognition for his book Hillbilly Elegy, and a wife he met in law school who is of Indian descent so their kids are just brown enough to appeal to some undecided voters.

But my new fave VP choice is Doug Burgum. After listening to one speech of his, I am tremendously impressed with his campaigning skills, wonderful sense of humor, ability to, I believe, change people’s minds in the nicest possible way.

I think a lot of people changed their ideas about Trump over time. We don’t need to harp on their initial attitudes toward him.

(There were a lot of so-called ‘Conservatives’ that I liked - until I didn’t anymore :-)

People who don’t like Trump’s demeanor would prefer Mr. Rogers, Buffalo Bob, or Clara Bell as Commander in Chief as opposed to General George Patton or Curtis LeMay.

America is committing suicide, meanwhile there are still those who say Trump is too gruff and “unpresidential.”

Trump was an ex-Democrat and an unknown quantity.

My arguments at the time weren’t, “he is so terrible”. They were, “”Cruz is a proven conservative and Trump is an ex-Democrat who we can’t trust”.

#1 - I didn’t think he could win and was a Dem plant

#2 - I still believed that Republicans were “conservatives” who wanted to save America.

#3 - I didn’t think Trump was as conservative as Cruz.

He’s probably not as “conservative” as Cruz but now I understand that being conservative is not what’s important. What is important is wanting what is best for the people of America. Not backing down and being willing to fight and sacrifice for the things you believe. That definition of what is important does not apply to 95% of elected “conservative” officials.

Again, I admit I was wrong. It is weird that you would continue to criticize someone after they clearly explain that they understand how they got something wrong.

“I am surprised he doesn’t post notices from the Southern Poverty Law Center.”

A lot of absolute crap posted here these days. And the Democrats know how to get the fish in the pond jumping around attacking their own.

Ya. I did not criticize you. Do difficult to ask questions without getting attacked

Same way you say you didn’t trust a former democrat I can say I don’t know about people who didn’t trust Trump. Which is the majority

Cruz was never going to win he is tone deaf. Cruz lost me with the importing foreign workers vote

Trump always loved this country it was obvious to me

And he was not a former democrat politician but people don’t see that

I guess there are people like that out there. But my point was that lots of people who didn’t particularly support Trump in the beginning with have come to do so. (I suspect that a lot of people who left FR during the ‘great purge’ have come back.)

What’s the point in condemning people who have ‘come around’?
