Archaeologists uncover mysterious 'blue room' in Pompeii

Oh you need to go...so awesome! There and the museum in Naples that houses much of the excavated art like the mosaic of Alexander fighting Darius III...from just about every Roman history boon you ever saw...

To actually see it and walk the streets...

I hope you can get there...

The whole blue thing may have come from African Americans, especially the Gullah. They called it ‘haint blue’, and often also painted their doors that color, to keep bad spirits away.

Maybe distracting bugs was an extra benefit?
