The article is a little misleading, Alex Jones didn’t “agree” to liquidate his assets, he had no choice, once he filed bankruptcy whatever assets he had are no longer under his control, the Bankruptcy Trustee that was appointed, controls all of the assets and can do as he wishes, Alex Jones basically has no say in what happens.

Once this case is resolved and settled, there is nothing to stop Alex Jones from starting up again, this time without all the debt from the judgement.

He will be able to get credit after bankruptcy, there is a requirement to wait 8 years to file chapter 7 bankruptcy. It happens every day, someone runs up huge credit card bills, files bankruptcy, gets all those credit card debts wiped out and then gets bombarded with new credit card applications, the credit card companies know you have to wait 8 years to file bankruptcy again and are more than happy to collect interest payments from you for that time.

How were they harmed? Answer: their feelings were hurt.

Jones was never found guilty by a jury. He was defaulted by judges after failing to produce disclosure on documents that the defense demanded that did not exist.

This template was applied to Trump in the E Jean Harridan case. I’m sure it is becoming a new staple strategy in Leftist Lawfare.

I thought you couldn’t file bankruptcy on a civil judgment.

Absolutely you can, Alex Jones originally filed a Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which requires a negotiated plan with the creditors to repay the debts and continue to operate, when those negotiations failed, the creditors requested a liquidation, which converted the case to a Chapter 7 and a Trustee was appointed, once that happens Alex Jones loses all control of his assets.

Alex Jones should be working with the Trustee to get this case resolved, so he can start over again without all the debt.

“...we no longer have the freedom of speech”

There’s the operative phrase.

Don’t make false slanderous statements and no worries. Or you have some sort of proof to support his claims? https://www.npr.org/2022/08/03/1115414563/alex-jones-sandy-hook-case

So the ‘poor little victims’ of Jones’ ‘hurtful words’ will get to share the proceeds of a the sale of a few hundred thousand dollars of used studio equipment and a few bottles of herbs and minerals from the infowars store out of the billions the corrupt judge and jury awarded them.

Athough it makes me happy that the ambulance chasing lawyers that actually started the suit won’t be getting the big payday they expected. (Unless their big payoff comes from the Deep State for the lawyers efforts in trying to remove a thorn from their foot)

And Jones will (probably) come back even stronger with a new organization, and dozens of social media outlets to start with, and sooner or later build back to where Infowars was.

Jones spent 40 minutes on Sandy Hook over 7 years of 4 hours per day 5 days per week shows, and he mostly let callers talk about it.

The Sandy Hook families didn’t even know about until years later when the CIA-funded ambulance chasers recruited them for the lawsuits.

They have said in court that they don’t care about the money, they just want to silence Alex Jones.

They have offered to forgive everything if he comes out against the Second Amendment and lets them dictate what he says.

Slander is slander. Even Jones admitted it was real. Why are we supporting a liar?

I’m no Alex Jones fan, he’s entertaining once in a blue moon, but what in the name of hell he expected to gain out of his Sandy Hook bender is completely incomprehensible. He had developed a considerable franchise, perhaps inheriting considerable Art Bell mojo, and he just went all the way around the bend with Sandy Hook. He really destroyed himself.

C’mon, everyone knows there are limits to free speech, and that ship sailed in the courtroom. Now it’s about perfecting the judgement which every plantiff that wins a civil lawsuit has a right do to.

You can argue that the court decision was wrong but that has nothing to do with what’s going on now. He lost, and he has to pay. Certainly not the first time someone’s big mouth has gotten them in trouble, and had to pay the price.

You are so psychotic you are orders of magnitude more angry at Alex Jones (who did nothing more than say some words you don't like) than you are at Adam Lanza, who actually murdered 26 people.

Many never paid ay attention to the Jones trial. That was the blueprint for how judges would deal with Trump. The defendant loses most avenues to defend himself, is gagged, and his lawyers are threatened and treated with disrespect.

What’s to stop some LLC from bidding $1 for the Infowars studio and equipment, and then hiring Alex Jones to work for them?
