The article is a little misleading, Alex Jones didn’t “agree” to liquidate his assets, he had no choice, once he filed bankruptcy whatever assets he had are no longer under his control, the Bankruptcy Trustee that was appointed, controls all of the assets and can do as he wishes, Alex Jones basically has no say in what happens.

Once this case is resolved and settled, there is nothing to stop Alex Jones from starting up again, this time without all the debt from the judgement.

He will be able to get credit after bankruptcy, there is a requirement to wait 8 years to file chapter 7 bankruptcy. It happens every day, someone runs up huge credit card bills, files bankruptcy, gets all those credit card debts wiped out and then gets bombarded with new credit card applications, the credit card companies know you have to wait 8 years to file bankruptcy again and are more than happy to collect interest payments from you for that time.

I thought you couldn’t file bankruptcy on a civil judgment.
