A vaccine contains an antigen, which is something that causes the adaptive immune system to produce specific T-cells, B-cells, and antibodies that recognize that antigen. Since the Covid vaccines have this function, they are vaccines by any scientific definition.
Hint: by any antivaxxer "definition" of vaccines, there is no "real" vaccine, since no vaccine ever is capable of completely preventing disease in every person who receives it. A vaccine is only as good as the immune system of the person receiving it.
Hint #2: most vaccines are not developed for the purpose of protection against disease. Most of the tens of thousands of vaccines in existence were created to cause animals to produce antibodies for research. A handful have been created to cause the production of antibodies for medical use. Vaccines created for medical use to teach people's immune systems how to fight disease are just a small subset of all the vaccines ever designed.

You shouldn’t have accepted it and just looked it up. The Court made no such finding or ruling.
These people haven’t exactly been accurate or honest in the past - why assume they were this time? Same way they falsified the findings of studies, etc. countless numbers of times, claimed suicides, drug overdoses, etc. were caused by the vax - showing up like vultures on a given thread in a seemingly festive mood every time someone dies to claim it was the vax before any information is known, just like those who get all excited every time there is a shooting to blame it on the NRA, “systemic racism”, or whatever narrative. They are the Left made over. No facts, just narratives. Even arguing until they are blue in the face that data collected well before the vaccine or the pandemic itself event existed was caused by the vaccines. These are not people for which truth / accuracy has any meaning - not just on this, but a host of topics. I had the nerve to point out that data collected from 1990-2019 was prior to the vaccine - for which - doing such a thing makes you a “Deep state shill for the vax.” Just one of many examples. That indicates they are just about pushing a narrative - not actually caring about what the facts or the truth of the situation may be.
You don’t know what you are talking about. The mRNA shot does NOT produce T-cells, B-cells, and antibodies. It makes your body produce the spike protein, the dangerous part of the virus, in hopes of accomplishing that. But it turns out that spike protein inflames deadly responses in the capillaries, the brain, and the heart and it’s surrounding areas. And that was not rare, it was very common and killed tens of thousands.

By your own definition it is not a vaccine because it doesn’t contain an antigen. If it works the way you say then the immune system would create antibodies to attack the “vaccine.” It doesn’t. The “vaccine” contains genetic code which instructs the cells to create the antigens. Some of us feel that injecting billions of nanoparticles instructing our cells to create trillions of spike proteins is monumentally reckless.

The Covid injections, Moderna specifically, for instance, has no antigen, stimulates no actual antibody response, and confers no immunity. It does not prevent transmission of disease, BUT iT DOES create a gene therapy response with the spike protein interfering with replication .

Exceptions to vaccines are known. But the Covid19 'vaccines' as a rule do not prevent infection, according to the CDC.
