A good friend of mine had a Pomeranian named Eva. Never bit me, but would lick you to death if you let her.
I was violently attacked by a chihuahua, gauging by the sound and by the fact that the micro dog’s teeth got caught in my pant leg before reaching my flesh, and the dog was thus thrashing helplessly at my feet, while issuing death threats.

But is Tyson still a 🐔 chicken?
Renamed?
Great picture.
My cat is a terrorist too. A tri-colored Tabby, “very smart and very fierce” according to my vet. I adopted Daisy because she was the Alpha of the litter.
At seven years old, she still bites me at least three times a day when I don’t do exactly what she wants when she expects it. Machine Gun Daisy wold be a good name.
I love my Rottweilers, Shepherds, Dobermans. Just good, smart, balanced puppies. I’ve owned a Rottie (who was my heart) and a DobermanRottweiler mix who was the smartest, most urbane dog I ever owned. I swear, if Albert could have walked around the house with a martini and a smoking jacket, he would have.
The dog that left a permanent scar on my face and nearly blinded me when I was a toddler was a little sh*thead named Socratese. He was a tiny little Yorkshire Terrier with bows in his stupid silky hair.
Meanest little sh*t to ever cross my path.
Here in S.E.Michigan, we use them as bait when trolling for muskies in Lake St. Clair.
If the dog can’t rip the throat out of a home intruder, it ain’t worth owning......
I was barked at very seriously by a chihuahua and a pit bull the other day. The pit was even strong enough to pull his chain loose and come right up to me and bark. The chihuahua wasn’t quite that strong, but I’m sure he would have done the same if he was able.
After this experience, I wonder if it would be okay to let my dog just bark at visitors. I always put her away when we have visitors because she barks a lot and I’m afraid she’ll bite. I’m not worried about her behavior outside the house, just inside. Outside, kids ask if they can pet her and I always allow them to.
On average, little dogs don’t get disciplined as puppies to the extent so tend to have more behavior problems.
Some breeds are prone to nerotic tenancies, too, like Chihuahuas. I swear when I was a kid our neighbor’s Chihuahua had multiple personality disorder or schizophrenia or maybe demon possession, lol. It would go from sweet and loving, to terrified, to raging anger monster seemingly at random.
My parents have a small dog and he is a polite gentleman who's only bad habit is a tendency to try to lick your face when you have him on your lap.
Dog next door is the same breed and will snap at you in a heartbeat.
We have a Chihuahua and yes if we had not raised her to be nice she would definitely have turned into a tiny terror. As it is she dominates every other dog she meets. 😄
