If the SCOTUS does not intercede in this abomination of a judicial process, why do the American people even need a SCOTUS? What role do they play in a post-America where justice is served at the whim of political activism? It seems to me that to preserve their relevance, SCOTUS must be heard!
The guy who gave a dark speech under a red spotlight flanked by two marines in dress uniforms who's overseeing the invasion of the United States by foreigners from all the countries of the world illegally entering across our border while arming our terrorist enemies in Iran, Gaza, and Afghanistan after draining our strategic petroleum reserves and canceling our pipelines and new drilling resulting in extreme inflation, supply shortages in food and baby formula who then wants to stack the Supreme Court with his own judges and jail his leading opponent for being a "dictator" because he's pointing all this out and wants to fix is doing it all to "save Democracy" or something?

You can bet that the Judges who will oversee Appeals, the USSC Justices that are OWNED (5 of them), and everyone in between (including the Jurors), have all been made aware of the consequences of independent thinking otherwise, vs. the rewards of "going along with the Plan".
Offshore and hidden bank accounts are easily obtainable, along with guaranteed income streams from appearances, book deals, family "rewards", etc.
Those involved in trucking in the votes in 2020 need to be investigated COMPLETELY for their complicity in the Treason that was committed.
Federal Judges may be Appointed for life terms, but they should ALSO be subject to intentional malpractice Removal and prison sentences, and forfeiture of ALL accumulated earnings from the Crimes.
There weren't enough pre-emptory challenges available to the Defense, screening a Jury Pool that was "selected" from a Venue that was 90% biased against the defendant, to start with.
Trump needs to request expedited appeal through NY, if he is denied, he then needs to go to SCOTUS.
The Bragg-Colangelo-Merchan persecution process is designed to interfere in our election options and process, not to promote a just outcome.
What makes you think we need a supreme court to settle this?
well, they wouldn’t do it before sentencing. I think they need to appeal to the Supreme Court for an emergency ruling due to election interference, and get it squashed * overturned pronto pronto. 🤙😁
The SCOTUS has been AWOL for 100 years.
They absolutely need to ride herd on the inferior courts, which are out of control.
I am sure there are a number of things they can do to clean up the judiciary nationwide.
If not, they are celebrities, they are the stars of our legal system, and their words carry enormous weight. they can give interviews, speeches, write op-eds, tweet.
They may claim that they must hold their tongues and rise above the fray, but I say that is garbage.
The SCOTUS needs to wake up and start advising and supervising the inferior courts or we are going to be left with an ash heap that used to be the USA.
I’m done here, no idea what your problem is.
Why haven’t they interceded a whie ago?
I’ve been asking for *weeks*.
yep
the supremes aren't feeling the pain yet
How has the SCOTUS ever been accountable?
The SCOTUS ordained itself from it’s beginning. It actually started by ruling itself out of Constitutional jurisdiction thereby raising the Constitution as a sceptre to rule all it’s subsequent userpations.
Then I would say, it’s amendment time.
We should get a pretty good idea whether the Supreme Court will step up and address these issues or punt by the end of June.
I believe there are three cases on which we are waiting for their rulings the end of this term:
1) The scope of Presidential immunity.
2) Was Jack Smith’s appointment as special council legal? This was brought up by Edwin Meese, former Attorney General for Ronald Regan. Meese argues that the special council must have previously been a federal officer approved by the Senate. Smith was not.
3) Were the sentencing “enhancements” for the J6 political prisoners legal?
Two other telltale indicators:
1) Roberts told Senator Durbin he can go pound sand when Durbin asked him to testify before the Senate.
2) The Supreme Court just ruled 9-0 in favor of the NRA against New York state.
Hang tight. We should know more in a few weeks.
Worst case scenario: the Supreme Court finally considers the appeal in 2026 or 2027 and decides on narrow grounds that Trump did not get due process because the former FEC head was not allowed to testify, so he can be released from serving his 136-year sentence on bond while the court in Manhattan re-hears the trial on the same charges. (That’s if he hasn’t been killed in prison by then.)
Were it a legitimate case with an impartial judge and jury, I would strongly agree with you. But this was anything but legitimate and brings into question the legitimacy of the entire process. This is NOT just an average case in any way shape or form. Constitution? Heh, if any of this horse shiite is allowed to stand for any length of time, it proves the Constitution has been eroded beyond saving. It is now nothing more than an old document. SCOTUS MUST act.
It was neither.
If we cannot rely on the Supreme Court to ensure fairness under the law then they and the entire federal government is useless to the people.
