*as in withholding it from the system; tax resistance and various economic strategies
and so far nobody’s got the guts to do anything but grumble.
We continue to vote as if it matters, and pay tribute as if it doesn’t matter.
Problem is, as usual, people have something to lose and they foolishly hope they can recover their liberty without risking everything.
Every day we enjoy the present, and our fragile, vulnerable affluence, we surrender more of the future.
No, the law will not sort this out for us. The appeals court, the Supreme Court, the ballot boxes, the Constitution. Who truly believes otherwise?
