Man on fire inside Florida Publix; police investigating
30-year-old in critical condition after fire

PLANT CITY, Fla. – Police in Plant City are investigating why a man was on fire inside a Publix Supermarket, News4JAX’s sister station WKMG reported.
Police said they received a call Wednesday about a 30-year-old man on fire inside the store on James L. Redman Parkway in Plant City around 6:35 p.m.
People inside the store tried to extinguish the flames.
Plant City Fire Rescue took the man to a nearby hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
No word on how the man caught fire inside the store.
The Division of Investigative and Forensic Services is also investigating.
