When I've asked my Russian wife if she can do an American accent, she adopts a hilarious and comical southern drawl. It's all she knows.

She tells me though that I can say a few phrases in Russian with almost zero accent. But only with her. I tried it by myself in Sevastopol and botched it horribly.
