Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez admitted the other day that the virtue of the so-called “hush money” trial is that it keeps Trump off the campaign trail. She slammed the fact that Trump would even contemplate making lemonade out of that lemon by campaigning in the Bronx—her turf. That was fear speaking, and AOC was right to be afraid. What’s happening now in the Bronx is monumental. A crowd that was estimated to be a few thousand is currently in the tens of thousands and still growing.

Something profound is happening here. This is bigger and deeper than Trump’s unexpected victory in 2016. The sleeping American giant may finally be waking up.
One of the most important things in politics is momentum. Once it builds, it’s very hard to stop. Biden is stagnant, while Trump is the most exciting game around. No matter what happens in that New York courtroom, Trump has the mojo. If he walks out a free man, he’s a winner. And (God forbid), if he walks out a convicted felon on a still unidentified, totally bogus charge, he’s also a winner because the American people have finally woken up.

All this is because Trump isn’t a great morale man.
Not a great husband and is a “meanie” in tweets.
But no one can say he is a bought man, under the thumb of special interests.
His thoughts and goals for his country are his own and of genuine concern for the nation his children and grandchildren will live.
And he’s fights for these values, even at the expense of his own wealth and safety of his own family.
What other politican can this be said since Reagan?

I was there and i have to tell you- it was amazing. Lots of young black men and women very excited about DJT. Lots of latinos as well.
I was there...i’ll say about 5000 to 6000....it was a small area on the top of a hill and it was an open stage. Every square inch was filled and there was an overflow crowd down on the bottom of the hill, standing on the rocks, listening to the rally
Before I get too excited about this Bronx crowd I’d like to see more than what we’ve been shown. It’s got exciting attendance but need longer lines before it becomes a phenomenal.

How? That is the one of the most densely populated areas in the country. Why wouldn't he get a huge crowd there? Because it is deep blue and Republicans get a low percentage of the vote? The low percentage of the vote translates to many millions of supporters in a small geographic area. Of course he can get a large crowd of supporters there...more than he could get in many areas that gave him 80%+ of the vote. It would be profound if he didn't get a large crowd - not that he did.
Articles like this are not helpful, giving the impression everything is going our way while Biden's media propaganda campaign is in full swing and going very strong. He is dominating the air war, plus the media is of course in his back pocket. We have our work cut out for us. The ordinary people out there who will decide the election are having their perceptions formed while watching their favorite TV programs - they aren't watching or going to rallies. It is good and important to have your base being excited, but having a party among yourselves doesn't convince a single voter.
