My take-away? I’m getting old - and Thank God I am!
Viewed through the eyes of a pubescent high school female sophomore.
These people need to get a freakin life.
Sounds like he had an okay one nighter and was brushing her off nicely.
Have a nice day.
Couldn't she simply test a response..."Me too, would you like to grab a drink this Friday?"
i think the problem was not enough emojis ... gots to have LOTS of emojis for youngsters to understand a message since they’re not very good at actual reading ...
Translation: plain English is a foreign language to young people. Like, totally.
“You sent me a text. And I didn’t quite understand it. I have decided to reject you and post your text to the internet where 500,000 people can view and possibly mock you. Please be aware that this is all your fault because you text like a Millenial.”
He didn’t want a second date, he wouldn’t have texted. I hope he saw what she did with his text. Stay away from her.
Then text him back, or God forbid, call him.
It’s a great example of why grown men shouldn’t date children.
Hey, don't ask me. I was commenting yesterday on a thread about rotary telephones. So that's my basis for communication with the opposite sex during dating and courtship. Oh, and I use the word "courtship" too....
it’s just Elizabeth getting free publicity ...
If anyone can translate this, please do.

His text sounded business cordial to her. I would suggest that saying “Have a good day” in particular sounded almost dismissive.
I think they are suggesting that she probably wanted something in text speak, which I cannot to claim to be proficient in, so I’ll probably slander it, but something like “Yo last night was cray noice. U down 4 moar fun?”
What’s the definition of “ick?”
In short:
She’s an idiot......................
The GenZ types don’t know how to react to simple courtesy. What did she expect after a first date? If she had any sense she would be after this guy who appears to be a decent type. I laugh when Gen Z women are lamenting why they can’t find a nice guy to marry. That generation has embraced wokism, transgenderism and every other leftist fad turning many of the guys into narcissistists, pajama boy types or the gender confused. This chick should be very happy she found a nice guy.
He's too smart for her and deserves better.
I know that every generation seems to be somewhat different that the preceding one. But having an up close view to this is sort of interesting. I have a son who is 32, and our youngest daughter is 19. It’s hard to believe they were raised by the same parents, much less believe they have the same genes. Attitudes about almost all cultural things and core philosophies are miles apart!
Wait till he replies in cursive and her head explodes.
She seems a bit nutty and desperate to me.
