We've all heard before that our cellphones are listening to us and monitoring our every move. While this has been debunked (or, at least, explained), the fact of the matter is that data tracking is standard practice by the most popular mobile carriers these days.

Most “commercial” ‘Faraday bags’...
Aren’t.
Thy have at best slightly conductive Mylar or similar lining inside regular fabric. Maybe cut 20% of rf, if you are lucky.
I make my own with a fine copper mesh lining... And THAT goes into a steel letter sized box.
Been telling people to test it out. I tell them to talk about totally random things and see how long it takes for an ad to appear. They don’t believe me but they will…

I had not heard that, thank you! But it makes sense. 5G is a shorter wave length with more power output so there would be some differences.
No matter what you turn on or off, they will track you anyway - usually because the ‘switches’ are for show and to make you feel good.
Monday, my hubby went outside to water plants. He found the hose reel fitting had broken. He came inside and we talked about buying a new hose reel , maybe, at Home Depot. He said, it can wait, and we went about our business for the day. Tuesday morning, during coffee, I opened my phone and was perusing the sites I normally read and low and behold, an ad for buying a hose reel from Home depot. How many times have you seen an ad for a hose reel? Wow. What a coincidence. So, if you don’t believe that your phone is actually listening to you, that convinced me thoroughly.

And it pinged where you were now located. So even faraday is just temporary during travel. As soon as you take it out and use it you are right back on the radar again.

Hey Girl! Say you’re out to lunch with the ladies and you remember you need to make a call. Pulling your foil-wrapped phone out of your purse and unwrapping it is not going to impress your friends - it might/should worry them. Trust me.

Search Amazon or wherever for “cell phone faraday bag”. $8 to $12 to $more but easily elegant and functional.
I’d get the clutch purse style where you just open a large flap for easy in/out access not the end of bag style even though I’m a guy.
