I was watching a Josh Gates “expedition unknown” about a dig on an Indian encampment on Croatian. The expedition found English artifacts dating to the time of the White expedition supporting the theory that folks from the lost colony joined the Indians. Diseases, storms etc may have reduced the people I. The colony may have had few survivors when the colony was vacated.

Wow. I was taught that they were called Indians because the settlers thought they had landed in India!!

Very close. Since they were located on a lay line, a wormhole opened up while they were all sleeping and transported them to the planet Kroll. Due to the toxic atmosphere, they all turned blue and developed AI which rule them to this very day.

I had never heard that that theory before recently, and realized that I had been lied to in elementary school history class. We were told the colonists disappeared and only left that message on the tree, but the colonists did NOT disappear, they left and everyone pretty much knew over time that they most probably joined the Indians.

You have to imagine how much of the history we have been taught is lies or stretched truth. Especially now.

They weren’t any more or any less bloodthirsty that the settlers, and different nations had different languages, different cultures and traditions, vastly different behavioral patterns, from authoritarian to egalitarian, matriarchal and patriarchal, warlike and pacifistic.

Wonder how many tropical storms blew up the coast in the time period. Torrential rain, flooding and high winds, food stores ruined, then the aftermath with stagnant water and mosquitos carrying malaria and other diseases.
