In recent years we have literally seen millions of Americans relocate from blue states to red states. In some cases, there is simply a desire to be around other like-minded people. In other cases, specific political policies that have been enacted in certain states have motivated large numbers of people to relocate.
This was particularly true during the pandemic. Of course there are also many that are just trying to escape the crime, drugs, homelessness and violence that are plaguing so many major cities in blue states. For those that are trying to raise a family, finding a safe environment for their children is often of the utmost importance.

The infection is merely spreading.
They’re welcome, as long as they don’t bring any blue state ideas with them.
It makes the problem worse to migrate. Blue state governments then become unbeatable super majorities.
Conservatives need to think about taking ground back, one precinct at a time. Play Obama’s community organizer game.
Especially California.
I think we'll solve about 90% of our problems if we would grant independence to California. Around 40 million people and 55 electoral votes. The Democrats won't be able to get them elsewhere.
I still despise the media conspiracy that branded us all “red states” in 2000.
Red America has flags in their yards.
It's a dilemma.
One the one hand, when the productive class flees for more hospitable states, those who remain, despite becoming an unbeatable majority, also become an unsurmountable drag on the state.
In the past, Democrats in blue states relied on taking Congress and the White House so they can raid the national treasury to bail out their failed states. Now, majorities have become so slim that they have to rely on the corrupt compliance of the minority party to get their agendas passed.
Age attrition will clean up the latter case, but we may have to wait for the inner rot of blue cities to work its way to the core before we can begin thinking about retaking them. It's probably best to focus on building stronger representation in Congress so we no longer have Vichy Republicans that keep propping up the failed Democrat states.

Calif. lost an electoral vote. Mt. gained one. That’s good.
They had to do something since the left was getting closer and closer to communists year by year. Better dead than red. Now we’ve got openly socialist/communists in elected office.
Cities have seen a major population loss since the 1960s, mainly driven by families with children moving away. Quite simply, big cities are anti-family.
To disguise that loss, leftist demographers have stopped publishing or emphasizing population counts in big cities and now use metropolitan area population counts to cover the loss of people exiting cities.
It is not “ red “ voters leaving. It is marxist asshats fleeing what they support to bring it to their new cities. These jerks (Californicators) ruined the last few lumber towns I have lived.
