A bill proposed by House Republicans seeks to send individuals convicted of illegal activities at anti-Israel college protests to Gaza for a minimum six-month community service sentence, asserting that “pro-Hamas” campus activists “should get a taste of [their] own medicine.”
The legislation, spearheaded by Tennessee Republican Rep. Andy Ogles and supported by Reps. Randy Weber (R-TX) and Jeff Duncan (R-SC) on Wednesday, is labeled the “Antisemitism Community Service Act,” and targets those involved in anti-Israel demonstrations, which have seen numerous arrests and instances of violence:
“Any person convicted of unlawful activity on the campus of an institution of higher education beginning on and after October 7, 2023, shall be assigned to Gaza for the purpose of providing community service… for a period not fewer than six months,” the bill reads.
“If you support a terrorist organization, and you participate in unlawful activity on campuses, you should get a taste of your own medicine,” Rep. Weber told Fox News Digital. “I am going to bet that these pro-Hamas supporters wouldn’t last a day, but let’s give them the opportunity.”

Yes!!
A law applying to something done in the past is called ‘ex post facto’ and on shaky Constitutional ground dare I say Unconstitutional.
It is being said this applies to anything October 7th, 2023 or later that’s in the past folks.
One-way ticket not paid for by taxpayers.
Even the ones that have no clue why they’re protesting ,LOL
Probably would save them some money since I recall Black Lives Matter and some other riot prone American groups getting the VIP treatment by Hamas during visits to “Palestine.”
I don’t know about the proposed law, but the article reads like you could get sent to Gaza for jaywalking or parking in the wrong lot.
And who gets to decide what is a community service and ensure that people perform it? The Hamas run Gaza could determine that community service consists of direct or indirect military activity against Israel.
The majority of House Republicans are just lackeys for AIPAC as should be readily apparent by now. Now they want to deport anyone who isn’t pro-Israel? What sort of unconstitutional insanity is this? The same sort of unconstitutional insanity that had them supporting legislation abrogating the 1st amendment with their “Antisemitism Awareness Act”? AIPAC is literally tearing apart our constitution while some of you numbnuts are cheering them on. What is wrong with some of you people? Don’t you see what is happening here?
There is something profoundly non-serious about politicians these days, even ones nominally on my side.
give them college credit. Open an extension there where they can complete their degrees. AND? Make the Saudis pay for it.
Sounds like a good idea. At least it would get the slime out
Of USA
Well, lookit, the GOP just needs to be seen doing something, insofar as they're not doing anything about the border, or the spiraling-out-of-control debt, or the infringement, by the federal government, of our liberties, etc.
I just posted my suppiet for this bill as it would get these slimes out of USA. But Gaza already has far too many slimes israel has to clean up. Let’s drop these slimes onto Iran !
I would think that would be rendition of sorts, no?
Not saying I have a problem with it, I’m just not sure it’s legal.
How constitutional is what they’re doing to President Trump?
