For the second year in a row, a lone Soviet-era tank rolled across Moscow's Red Square during Russia's Victory Day parade, prompting social media users to mock President Vladimir Putin's military's procession on a day which is traditionally used to display the country's might.
A single T-34 tank participated in the parade in Moscow to mark May 9, or Victory Day, which is the annual commemoration of Nazi Germany's defeat during World War II. Like last year, this year's procession was notably muted in contrast to previous events amid Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine, during which both sides have suffered extensive casualties and have lost vast amounts of military equipment.

"Truly hilarious that the T-14 Armata has been found not only too costly to use in Ukraine, but also doesn't exist in large enough numbers to survive the attrition of the Victory Day Parade in Moscow," said Oliver Alexander, an OSINT analyst, on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"This T-34, the legendary Soviet tank from World War II, was the only Russian tank on display at the Victory Day parade in Red Square today," said Max Seddon, Moscow bureau chief for the Financial Times. "The others must all be busy somewhere!"

It’s going to be a really bad day for the Zeepers when Ukraine falls.
In 2014, Ukraine was led by President Viktor Yanukovych. He had cordial relations with Russia. All was good until the smelly anal fingers of Obama decided to foment a coup to remove Yanukovych under the rubric of non organic color revolution (which was a CIA led event to remove the duly elected president in exchange for a Western puppet).
Now the Russian people view the Ukraine war as an existential threat to Russia’s very existence. Russia cannot and will not lose Ukraine. Something that the Zeeper bozos do not understand (like the notorious Williams on this forum). To the point that Russia will not hesitate to drop those majestic atom bombs on London and DC. When that happens, it will be a glorious day to remove democrat/neocon cretins from the face of the earth. /spit

I saw one of the leftists on here yesterday celebrating that “Moscow Marge” was unable to get votes to have Johnson removed as Speaker. While I didn’t support MTG’s action at this time, calling her “Moscow Marge” is something only a Democrat would do.
These selfish Ukrainian Democrats on our site are actively trying to destroy it. They only care about Ukraine continuing its grift and they get vicious defending it. They don’t like their crooked income sources being questioned. Disgusting people.

I want to go back for one of the reenactment events. They probably have the best on-display collection of armor in the Western hemisphere. And it’s very artfully done. Dig around, there are a lot of pics buried away on their site.

The Russians built tanks and guns, everything else we supplied. Their motor transport pretty much all came from Detroit, locomotives, massive amounts of foodstuff, strategic materials, on down the line.

The equivalent of the US would be parading a single M-4 Sherman tank, also representing victory over the Germans.
