With Kristi Noem's dog Cricket bit away her chances of being chosen for VP by President Trump. That appears to have narrowed the field down to two especially since the former governor of the other Dakota (North), Burgum, is revealed to be nothing more than a fully owned tool of Bill Gates as you can easily find out in any quick search.
Therefore it appears the VP field has been narrowed down to JD Vance and Tim Scott. Now tell me, which of the two, according to your own observations, has the fire in the belly to carry on the MAGA Movement after Trump? I think you know who has that capability and it is most definitely the Buckeye Boy.
Yeah, Tim Scott, is a nice guy but he seems to be operating in the belief system of a political world that no longer exists (if it ever really did) of collegiality between Democrats and Republicans. Yeah, he has lately assumed the appearance to be a staunch Trump defender but for him it seems to be an uncomfortable fit. Oh, and would someone who FULLY supporst Trump have run AGAINST him in the primary amidst all the LAWFARE? Something of a deal killer right there.
As to JD Vance, something big changed in him from a few years ago when I (and many others) mistrusted him. However, after MTG endorsed him for Senator during his primary I looked into him and was highly pleased with what I saw.
Vance by far has the fire in the belly to help Trump in the campaign ahead. If you can think of someone better, than post it here but for me right now, I definitely would like to see Vance be chosen as VP and carry on the MAGA banner in the years ahead.
Don’t think it’s either of those two. Vance needs to cook more and would be replaced with a squish by Dewine. Scott ran a lousy campaign. Good surrogate and may have a role in the admin. It will be Gabbard or someone not on anyone’s list.
Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri would be my choice…
Vance is unpredictable.
No way
And Trump is not going to the swamp for a VP
Any governor, senator or rep who has survived without getting threatened with removal, indicted, accused is off the list
Add Trump’s former Dept. of Ed. head....she wants to dismantle the department. I’d include Noem, if she’s not reupping in SD, or somehow loses.
Winsome Sears denounced Trump saying she was done with him after the Mar-a-Lago raid. She is a huge disappointment.
I’d rather have Vance in the virtually powerless office of Veep than as my Senator.
Elise has been very loyal as far as I can tell.
I could go with Chris Rufo — a great strategist and tactician who’s on the right side of the issues. No elected office before, but, as we’ve seen, that doesn’t matter (and in fact it has some pluses).
You named some good ones there - Zeldin, Ratcliffe, Vivek - glad I don’t have to make the choice.
Because he is a good conservative who came closer than many expected in a liberal state governor’s race?
Trump didn’t come close to winning his home state but yet was elected president.
Scott is Swamp.
It would be like Reagan picking Bush.
I am a big Scott supporter. He brings everything needed to the Political Plate including a large part of the Black vote which would kill the Dems.
Yes, Elise is a pistol and would add voter appeal that Vance would not.
Big no to Tim Scott. Rick Scott would be better.
He was the biggest disappointment I can recall....
“Imagine it being Ric Flair.
WOOOOOO!!!!”
LoL!
I watched WWE just to see all the blood in that White hair!!
Is he still alive?
Vance. Never Scott.
I like JD and I like Tim Scott. The GOP base will like them both. However, i don’t think either one will help Trump much in the general election where he will need independents and somewhat dissaffected Dims, to get the slim majorities needed in the few narrowly decisive “swing” states.
My vote would be for JD Vance.
?????????????????????????????? on what bleepin' planet is Tim Scott a shoo in??????? ???????????????
