I have no clue... Kash Patel said many months ago, I think in answer to what can be done about the stolen election, that there was no remedy in the Constitution. T

I've posted more times than I can count that there IS a Constitutional way -- i.e., repealing the 22nd Amendment. Repeal of a Constitutional Amendment HAS BEEN DONE. It can be done again. But I'm totally ignored, every single time. Not sure if people can't understand the concept, or if they just don't WANT to understand it. I'm done.

Your assertion is well-received, and might even be the best solution, provided Americans can be assured that all elections thereafter are conducted honestly. (God help you if they figure out a way to cheat in perpetuity. You’ll never get rid of the evil parasites.) However, it isn’t a solution that can happen in the near term because of the rigorous process of repealing, adding or changing an amendment.

It seems highly unlikely that anyone could get two-thirds of the House and Senate to propose the change you suggest. It seems equally unlikely that two-thirds of the state legislatures would agree to call for a constitutional convention to accomplish the same thing. It’s even less likely that three quarters of the states would vote to ratify such an amendment at this point in time.

Once the elections are clean, it will probably be a lot easier to make the change you suggest and all of the other changes that reflect the ACTUAL will of the people.

I understand the concept, but I am against it. Lack of term limits is part of how we got here. Entrenched career politicians tend to breed corruption. I’m also against family political dynasties. Our forefathers fought the British to escape the monarchy. I doubt they would approve of replacing it with Clintons or Bushes or even Trumps.

I’m open-minded enough to listen to arguments for why it might be a good idea, but “so Trump can run again” is not (IMO) a good argument.

Hmm... does repealing a Constitutional Amendment require 3/4 of the states etc like adding one? I am not a Constitutional scholar. Obviously.

PS - Kash Patel saying no Constitutional remedy, I took to me no Constitutional remedy regarding a stolen electoin, for removing a fake president and putting the real one. IOW, before just waiting for the next election.

😌 In fairness, repeal of an amendment is a long laborious process, work and time intensive. It happened fairly easily concerning the prohibition of alcohol to drink. 🤷 High public motivation❗

OTOH, FDR achieved overriding an amendment quite easily... I am not sure that I really know how... I guess that I know why.
