I’m about to start growing cucumbers and dill here in Michigan. Last year I had a lousy cucumber crop but still managed to get over 50 quarts. Had a stellar year in 2022 and canned over 100 quarts of pickles. Far as I’m concerned my dill pickles are way better than any store bought.

Sounds like her Rottonness's fault, doesn't want another tough TV stint. No pickles, no jars.

My garden is green and full this year thanks to the excellent weather. No shortage here.

What fresh hell is this? This crop report is just filled with good news!
"National pickle shortage" proclaims that America is no longer in a pickle.
The lack of pickles is being attributed to El Niño, aka the Christ child.
"In certain growing regions, it has been too hot (100 °F), which reduces yields. In other key production regions in Mexico, it has been too cold. The crop has not suffered from freezes but temperatures that do not promote pickling cucumber growth."
And would you just look at the "pickle" map!? There's being in a pickle just on the face of it, like being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
How to get out of a situation like that? El Niño simply removes the pickles from across the Fruited Plain.
It's crunch time!

Is it El Niño or Climate Change?
If they can't blame Climate Change, then nobody cares.
Pickles is a foodstuff I like, but can live perfectly well without.

Why does so much of our produce come from Mexico? In Southern California, all Roma tomatoes come from Mexico, as do most other varieties. Yet California has an excellent climate for growing tomatoes.
I love my good health, so I try to avoid buying produce from Mexico and try to get my tomatoes at farmers’ markets.

What I want to know is what is causing the shortage on peanuts? I dont mean jumbo peanuts, you can get them anywhere but Valencia peanuts cant be had anywhere.

But of course the culprit is climate change.
Therefore give up freedom and prosperity forever and let a cabal of mass murderers regulate f**king everything.
Or no pickles for you. Well at least not Mexican pickles.
Right?

“Weather”? Hun?
We all know it’s due to the climate changing. Fox News is slipping…at least in the excerpt.
