Prediction: Tulsi Gabbard will be the GOP Vice Presidential Nominee
FR ^ | May 2 | RF

Posted on 05/02/2024 9:46:34 AM PDT by RandFan

I'm making a bold prediction today she's got this based on the following evidence:

She's on the list

Donald Trump Shortlist: Tulsi Gabbard's VP Chances Soar

"Tulsi Gabbard's odds of becoming the 2024 Republican vice-presidential candidate surged with a leading bookmaker after Donald Trump said she was on his short list during a Fox News town hall on Tuesday".

She wants it

Tulsi Gabbard ready to ‘serve my country’ as Trump’s vice president if asked

“If that call came, I would say yes, and I'd be honored to serve my country in that way and to be in a position, first, to help win this election, to stop the Democratic elite from destroying our country, and then actually begin the real work of getting our country back on track,” Gabbard said.

“And that starts with having people of courage in our government who care more about the country than they do about the political elite in Washington."

Betting odds reflect her growing chances

She was 35/1 earlier this year now she is 7/1 2nd FAVORITE in the betting to be the GOP Vice Presidential nominee.

For someone who isnt even a Republican to be 2nd Favorite for the nomination is unprecedented.

Her rivals are unimpressive

Noem, Tim Scott, etc. all look lightweights to me so that leaves JD Vance and I'm not sure Trump will pick a freshman senator

So that leads me to conclude that Tulsi Gabbard has this!!

Interesting...

Mark this thread because I have immediately placed $25 on her at 7/1 and will be donating the winnings (175 bucks) to FR if she is chosen by Donald Trump.

I'm confident enough for a small wager anyway!

Who agrees with me that it'll be her? And who's excited by this possibility?

She’s been my choice since 2017.

I know, I know, but the nation is in desperate trouble, a bipartisan or semi-bipartisan ticket that doesn’t contain any America haters is desirable - and Vattel has been dead for 250 years.

Trump said a couple of months ago that he had already made his choice. I think it’s Byron Donalds.

As long as it’s not Kristi “I shot the puppy and I’m proud of it” Noem. Anyone but her. That anchor would sink President Trump.

I think Ben Carson is the best choice for Trump’s VP.

Tulsi is a safe pair of hands generally. Clean as a whistle.

She will NOT be passing FR purity tests and has all kinds of horrible past positions though...

Fun... ! 😂

I can’t believe you are using that so called list that the Anti and Never Trumpers were promoting that was actually Laura Ingraham’s list as your number one reason. Friendly reminder, stop simping for semi-decent looking women. Have some dignity.

My bet is Tim Scott. Rubio a long shot. I give everyone else essentially zero chance.

Putting her on the list is easy. Her problem is that she appeals to Trumps base, but she doesn’t really add to it. Scott would though.

I think President Trump said recently that his first consideration is to have someone who could step into the Office of President right away, if the need arose. I sure don’t see Tulsi being that person. A pro-abortion, pro homosexual marriage (although President Trump steers clear of this issue), socialist is not someone I see as a suitable president, at any time.

I’m sticking with Vivek. If he is what he portrays himself to be, he’d be a stick of dynamite, just like President Trump. I don’t see Tulsi draining the swamp. Not a chance.

There are other factors.

I forget to mention her book and why she is in the news all the time? She’s not even in Congress any more.

There’s some clues anyway

My three favorites (in no particular order):

Vance: young, articulate, explains MAGA principles clearly and forcefully.

DeSantis: proven executive, can be seen as DJT’s successor from Day 1.

Pompeo: has worked in Legislative and Executive branches, and his experience as Secy of State will come in handy if this election hinges on foreign challenges

How the hell do freepers make the leap from MAGA and America First, to wanting a Democrat as Trump’s VP, first in line to secede Trump in case of death, impeachment or incapacitation, and the heir apparent 2028 candidate for POTUS?

I love Byron Donalds too! His speech is very forceful and he’s very knowledgeable. Would be a great defender and proponent for Trump.

She’s a total Zero on climate, fossil fuels and gun control.

Yep. Too bad the Gabbtards are more concerned about T & A.
