It’s tough to get support for a policy (Ukrainian aid) that a majority of your parties voters oppose.
I think we are lucky that the current aid package got approved. I don’t think it will get approved next year if the Republicans retain control of the House.

Don’t make me laugh. This kind of foreign/corporate “welfare for white people” bill has been ingrained in the GOP political agenda since I’ve been old enough to vote.
