UKRAINE has blitzed another major Russian oil refinery in a kamikaze drone strike, the explosions sparking a huge inferno near Moscow.
Dramatic video from the scene showed flames raging from the Rosneft energy giant facility in the city of Ryazan on Wednesday.
Residents of Ryazan, located 125 miles southeast of Moscow, were said to have heard the rumble of drones about 3am.
Two explosions followed the sound, triggering the inferno.
The attack came after another Ukrainian strike on two oil refineries in Krasnodar region

Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin’s defence minister Sergei Shoigu demanded more "means of destruction" as Western supplies of munitions began to arrive in Ukraine.
On a visit to his military's HQ, he said: "It is necessary to increase the volume and quality of the weapons and military equipment supplied to the troops, first and foremost the means of destruction."
The grim-faced politician warned Putin about the pace at which military supplies were being provided to his troops.
He said: "There are issues that require special attention and urgent solutions, especially with regard to the provision of the most sought-after models.
"We shall discuss measures that will make it possible to ensure the fulfilment of the tasks of the special military operation."

Very accomplished by the Ukrainians to be able to send a killer drone so far. BUT more likely this was launched from within Roooskie land by Ukrainian special ops. Or by native saboteurs.

This might be the pin prick that causes the gloves to come off on the Russian side.If Putin doesn’t respond, his Russian supporters may well desert him. On the other hand Ukraine and its western “friends” may well receive quite nasty reprisals from Russia over this.
This hurts Russia and they’ll respond!

Putin does not trust in God. He trusts in Russian oil n gas exports profits, earning cash for his Ukrainian war.
My point exactly. I think really bad things will come out of this action. Ukraine needed to sue for peace with some sort of buffer zones set up. I think from the Russian point of view, we are all past that now!

Putin is just the latest Russian dictator, and dictators seldom leave the scene peacefully. I foresee either one or both of the following scenarios: Putin uses tactical nukes and/or Putin is removed. Cornered rats don’t necessarily assess their situation logically.
I’ll say propaganda until I see BDA by a separate entity. Remember Ukraine said it took out Russia’s oldest sub tender in a drone strike but satellite photos showed it docked and completely untouched a few days later.
This war is full of unbelievable propaganda on both sides. Wars usually are but this one is exponentially worse.

Reminds me of the story about a group of Jewish concentration camp prisoners who had committed some trifling infraction of the camp rules, and who were scheduled to be summarily shot - to "make an example" of them.
As they were being led to the place of execution, one of the Jews repeatedly began praying audibly. Each time, one of the guards leading them to the place of execution would brutally strike him with the butt of his rifle, but the Jew would simply get back on to his feet and resuming praying.
Finally, one of his fellow Jews turned to him and whispered, "Hey, stop doing that! You're gonna get us all into trouble!"
I've read various versions of this story; it isn't necessarily meant to be literally true.
But it illustrates the attitude of some people who are constantly warning against "p*ssing off" the Russians and possibly "escalating" the conflict.
They are essentially advising the Ukrainians to lie down and let the Russians trample on their bodies.
