Few Jews in Germany prior to WW2.

Sorry to get specific and appear to use definitions and terminology to create an argument, but it’s needed:

Compared to most Catholic and Protestant nations, yes the Germans had some of the most Jews aside from of course, Poland.

Germany especially in more modern times but prior to the Nazi’s, was actually one of the better places for them.

Look at 1848 onward and Germany was one of the better places for them, until the Nazis came: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Jews_in_Germany

Today of course, that 12 year period of German history (the Nazi era) defines this more than 3,200 year old culture and people.
