Democrats thought they had a winning strategy in the 2024 election by attempting to get Donald Trump off the ballot in various states and taking him off the campaign trail by tying him up in bogus legal battles. The first effort failed, as it should have, and now it looks like he’s taking advantage of being confined to New York because of the bogus trial over his perfectly legal non-disclosure agreement with Stormy Daniels in a way no one expected.
Last week, following his appearance in court, President Donald J. Trump visited the Harlem bodega of clerk Jose Alba, whom Soros-funded D.A. Alvin Bragg falsely accused of robbery, assault, and murder for acting in self-defense. When Trump arrived, enthusiastic supporters lined the streets to welcome him, chanting "Four more years!" and "Trump! Trump! Trump!" and "We love Trump!"
The optics were so good for Trump that Biden's campaign responded by sending Biden to a Sheetz gas station in Pittsburgh. The contrast between the two events was so dramatic. Both candidates were in deep blue areas, yet only Trump experienced enthusiasm and large crowds.
On Thursday, Trump once again made the best of his time in New York, by visiting a lower Manhattan construction before going to court. Once again, Trump was met with enthusiastic support, with locals shouting "We love Trump!" and "USA! USA!"
Trump is now saying he thinks New York is in play in 2024.

Bush/Cheney were around 30% when they left office.
He’s also met with the PM of Japan and I think the PM of Poland. In other words, he’s acting like a president.

Biden was ignored by the few people who were there,
while Trump was lionized by large crowds enthused by his presence.
In that case, none of us should bother with supporting President Trump or voting. Let's all just curl up in a fetal position and dry up.
Stay with it. The filthy Biden needs to know he’s got plenty of opposition.
That's why I predict that Judge Merchan is going to use his power to put a stop to it while he can.
My prediction is that Merchan will find that Trump violated his gag order. After Merchan reportedly had a meeting with the Secret Service and then softened his tone about jailing Trump, Merchan will order that Trump wear an ankle bracelet and restrict his movements to only go to and from Trump Tower and the courthouse, keeping him from going to pop-up rallies in New York City.
Merchan will further order that Trump must stop receiving guests like world leaders at Trump Tower (like the other day with former Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso) as if he were the real President-in-exile.
It's the only way they can have a plausible means of keeping Trump from campaigning during the trial, which was always their primary goal.

Trump doesn't need to win NY and he most certainly won't. In 2020 Trump lost NY 61-38.
However, if he closes the gap to say 56/43 in 2024, those numbers would trickle down into a landslide victory across the country and he'd win the popular vote as well.
It's about closing this gap in blue states so that he'll win massively in the swing states.
