Why can't we keep using "men and women" and "mother and father"? That's worked fine for a few thousand years.
A young woman who came to the pregnancy center where I work shared this story with me. She had a pediatrician appointment for her baby girl last week. She brought her infant, dressed all in pink, into the doctor's office. After stating the baby's female name, the doctor asked, "So, have you decided what gender you're assigning to this child?"
She was stunned. She said she just stood there until the word "female" came out of her mouth.
This wasn't the first time I've heard this line of questioning in a pediatrician's office. A friend told me her daughter was asked the same thing on her first visit to the doctor's office with their infant son.
The question, "gender assigned at birth" is now on many medical forms. A man I know was at a new doctors' office and the paperwork included an entire page on "gender identity." He wrote male, crossed off everything else on the page and wrote "I don't participate in the gender craze."
The term, "gender assigned at birth" would have been laughable ten years ago. Now the identity cult tells us we may only use words they approve of, words that are -- to them -- preferable to men and women, male and female, mother and father.
Since June 2002, New York State has allowed people to choose X, male, or female for their driver's license or birth certificate, further legitimizing the belief that there are genders beyond male and female. "Every person, regardless of their gender identity or expression, deserves to have an identity document that reflects who they are," celebrated Governor Kathy Hochul.

The gender wokeism seems to be an act of rebellion against God.
My wife and I were at a fast food restaurant not too long ago and the couple next to us had a boy toddler just barely able to stand up dressed as a girl in pink.
There is no way that child chose to be a female instead of a male. This was clearly mental illness from the mother.
If your pediatrician asks what gender you assigned your child at birth, find a new pediatrician. You don’t need any further evidence the doctor is crazy.

We talked about that, and we were betting the mother wanted a girl instead of a boy and the father probably didn’t have much choice because he was whipped and did not wear the pants in the family.
But you are right, could have been both.
In my opinion, ALL this Gender BS is CLEARLY mental illness from the PARENTS.
This damned Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy exhibited by Sanctimonious Virtue Signaling PARENTS needs to stop. These parents need a 2x4 up side the head MULTIPLE times.
Also ANY medical professional who supports and encourages this BS, needs the SAME treatment and to also forfeit their precious medical license!!!

My thoughts as well. I would walk right out of there without a word. We simply cannot tolerate this.
I remember going to a restaurant where a couple had a baby boy, less that a year old, the baby had pierced ears and earrings. I let my daughter have pierced ears when she wanted it, as it’s standard for a female. If I had a son I would have made him wait until he was 18. Yup, I’m a sexist pig.

I disagree. I think you had the common sense to let your child decide on their own without forcing something the parent might want on a child whether they might want it or not. Just let the child grow up and decide for themselves.
It’s disheartening to think the people pushing gender insanity have the support of almost half the voters in this country.
It is truly disappointing.
Distrubing comes to mind (seeing that we are using the letter D to describe how we feel about it). :)
... and the seriously mentally ill demand that you not only acknowledge and participate in their delusions, they can become violent (or at least very loud) if you fail to celebrate their delusions!
Those “professionals” got paid to encourage BS during the lockdown.
She should have said, "My child is a girl, but I'm looking for a real doctor".
Should be, "sex recorded at birth".
