So Biden and the deep-state were sending weapons to Ukraine, unauthorized by Congress?
Wasn’t Oliver North sentenced to 3 years in prison for this during Iran-Contra?
Now if Johnson had a bit more moxy he’d have acted all surprised and left who knows how many military, intelligence, and executive branch folks hanging out to dry. Should have ruined a bunch of “careers”.
THEY ARE NOT HIS FRIENDS OR ALLIES.
Biden breaks the Law again.
Both parties have his back. What does he have to fear?
It certainly would have been easier to swallow if we had been told this before the vote; makes the Speaker’s actions a bit more understandable.
Maybe that’s what changed Speaker Johnson’s mind about the Ukraine aid package. The goods were already delivered?
“The aid package is to pay for a prior secret delivery of weapons.”
This sentence makes no sense. We have to pay for a gift that we already gave them? Sounds like we are “gifting” them twice. How much more blackmail will we have to pay to satisfy Ukraine?
The main stream news said that the U.S. “secretly” provided long range missiles (I believe it is in the 180 mile range) to Ukraine. But shouldn’t the speaker of the house know what is in the package? He has to agree to a vote of arm shipments. The Biden administration might be caught stealing weapons and shipping them off to Ukraine without congressional approval.
So the MIC extends credit and gets paid promptly while the taxpayer’s Grandchildren get screwed and will never get paid back.
Shut this Con Game down...
Looks like Zelensky has shot his wad.
Makes one wonder what else they are not disclosing.
All the talk about loans is BS.
Ukraine can’t pay it back.
We know they can never pay it back.
We give them the weapons and money now and later we “forgive” the debt.
But those lying politicians (who know this) that are approving this money today appear more reasonable and moderate, middle of the road type of guys and get to do what they want without quite as much controversy and push back.
Just eyewash for the ignorant masses.
When anyone fails to hold back laughing when claiming the expert is one of the best experts, that's never a good sign. More so when the person using the expert has no credibility.
Just who is Jack Rasmus and what does he believe?
Let's look at what he said about the 2020 election: How Could 70 Million Still Have Voted for Trump? November 7, 2020:
This was before the 2020 steal was obvious to anyone who could download the vote spreadsheets, perform basic Excel operations and find funny numbers. To Rasmus, Trump is just perpetuating the same problems of rich and powerful versus everyone else, appealing to his voter's inherent racism.Media pundits and others have been deeply perplexed as to why so many Americans in this election–70 million in fact– nonetheless voted for Trump. But it’s not all that difficult to understand. There are 3 major explanations: One economic. One health. And the third, and most important, a matter of culture and racism manipulated by clever politicians for the past quarter century at least.
...This fear is the foundation of his—and their—white nationalism which is really a form of racism. So too is their anti-immigration. It is anti-immigration directed against people of color–whether latinos, blacks, muslims or whomever. White European heritage, small town, rural, evangelical, small business ‘heartland’ of the south & midwest America sees ‘their America’ disappearing or at least having to share more equally with people of color America. The latter are now almost equal in population to White Europeans but are not equal politically or economically. They are knocking on the door and want in. They want their equal share.
...Pit the one against the other, while they–those of wealth and power–continue to ‘pick the pockets’ of both. That was, and remains, Trump’s strategy in a nutshell. It’s also the strategy of his wealthy backers. It’s the age old American ruling class racism ‘shell game’. Just now in the form of ‘old wine in new bottles’, as they saying goes. ‘America First’ means in effect White America of his political base comes first.
I don't think Mercouris is citing a conservative intellectual icon like Thomas Sowell here.
