I’ve heard of fasting plans before but when I look into them they really aren’t “fasting” in the traditional meaning of the word. They all seem to incorporate diluted juice and other supplements less than full meals to keep the body going.
I’m not convinced. This is just a fad, and one that seeks monetary enrichment. None of these plans are free.
I would beg to differ.
Intermittent fasting - at least the style I favor is - eat within a window - I currently do this in a rough 6 hour window from about 12 to about 6 pm.
I feel better and my body fat went down. You can merge this with a more veggies and lean meat choices, but that’s your choice.
Of the ten plus years I have stuck to it the results were great and I did not pay for a program nor did i drink juice or supplements—the goal is to not put ANY calories in my body and trigger an insulin response.
That's bad misinformation on fasting. Any real nutritionist will tell you that ALL juices are restricted while fasting.
Unfortunately for the weight loss hucksters, they canot make a dime out of a fasting regiment. There's nothing to sell. You just don't eat for a period of time. Period.
I’ve been intermittent fasting for 5 years now. Never spent a dime on someone’s plan. The information is out there for free.
People who drink juice aren’t fasting. The are on a calorie restricted liquid diet.
I fast intermittently on a daily basis.
I don’t subscribe to any “plan”, I just do it. Doesn’t cost me anything except for the food I choose to eat.
