Taylor Swift’s Lyrics: Explicit, Demonic and Blasphemous?
100 Percent Fed Up ^ | APRIL 22, 2024 | Staff

Are Taylor Swifts lyrics full of “explicit” content?

It’s one thing to drop a bunch of F-bombs….but are they also flat-out Demonic and Blasphemous?

Many people say yes, including Sean Feucht, who posted this which is what originally caught my attention:

Sean Feucht @seanfeucht · Follow Here’s the explicit songs in @taylorswift13 ‘s new album👇🏼.

Watching Christians praise this new album of promiscuity & perversion while simultaneously rebuking Biden for allowing men in women’s locker rooms is peak American fake morality in 2024.

Are your kids listening to Taylor Swift?

Are you ok with them listening to all this EXPLICIT language?

But as I said, that’s one thing. They’re going to hear bad language in this world. But are you ok with them hearing outright Demonic and Blasphemous lyrics and singing (chanting?) them over and over, almost as if casting a spell?

That’s a whole other thing!

Take a look at this second post from Sean Feucht:

Post See new posts Conversation Sean Feucht @seanfeucht · Apr 19 Here’s the explicit songs in @taylorswift13 ‘s new album👇🏼.

Watching Christians praise this new album of promiscuity & perversion while simultaneously rebuking Biden for allowing men in women’s locker rooms is peak American fake morality in 2024. Sean Feucht @seanfeucht Almost half the songs on Taylor Swift’s new album contain explicit lyrics, make fun of Christians and straight up blaspheme God.

Is this the music you want your kids listening to?

Do you think I’m overreacting?

Read the lyrics below and decide for yourself:

🎤Guilty as Sin What if I roll the stone away? They're gonna crucify me anyway What if the way you hold me is actually what's holy? If long-suffering propriety is what they want from me They don't know how you've haunted me so stunningly I choose you and me religiously

Another song:

🎤The smallest man who ever lived I would've died for your sins, instead, I just died inside

Another song:

🎤 But daddy I love him I just learned these people only raise you To cage you Sarahs and Hannahs in their Sunday best Clutchin' their pearls, sighing, "What a mess" I just learned these people try and save you 'Cause they hate you

Another song:

🎤 God save the most judgmental creeps Who say they want what's best for me Sanctimoniously performing soliloquies I'll never see Thinkin' it can change the beat Of my heart when he touches me And counteract the chemistry And undo the destiny You ain't gotta pray for me Me and my wild boy and all of this wild joy If all you want is gray for me Then it's just white noise, and it's just my choice

Sure, whatever. Like that makes a difference in this discussion.

Now go back to worshipping Tipper Gore for making record labeling a thing. Maybe she’ll explain how Al left her for Chakra lyric singers.

Yep, looks Satanic to me . . .

All these stories about pedophiles and Disney and Nickelodeon and teachers sleeping with students and it’s Taylor Swifts fault society is falling apart!

And I couldn’t even name a song of hers, nor have I ever wanted to listen to one and I hope the Chiefs NEVER win another game.

But I’m going to hell if I don’t take these modern-day Aimee McPherson’s in this thread seriously . . . LOL

It's not like she's The Beatles who were popular with all youth, she appeals to mostly young girls - girls who think climate change is the biggest issue facing our world and also think that there should be zero restrictions on abortion - both non-sensical positions.

Explicit, Demonic and Blasphemous? Like most pop music today? Or like most pop music since the 1960s?

She’s just another gyrating, autotuned 304 with bad taste in men.

I’m not sure how up on climate change (or abortion) her young fans are.

Anyway, that is what the whole entertainment world is now. There’s a thread today about the 80s group the Go-Gos. Lead singer Belinda Carlisle, with her abortion activism and her gay activist son is more out there than Swift — and Carlisle’s husband worked for Reagan.

Better watch out! The Swifties will get’cha!

A while back I replied to a post about how great Taylor was. I had caught snippets of her music and couldn’t figure out why she was so popular. So some guy replied. Said if I didn’t like Taylor then I didn’t know talent and “Just leave Taylor alone!” And then gave me a couple of her Greatest Hits to review. So, I thought, why not? I made it about 1 minute into the first 2 and thought, WTF?

If she has talent, and I think she does, she hasn’t been showing it. She has traded her talent for money and fame. When your biggest fans are 12 Y.O girls you should know you’re doing it wrong.

Just curious..... How much $$ did a concert ticket cost??
I’m probably the only one left on this earth that hasn’t listen to any of her music. 🤷‍♀️

My daughter won some sort of concert that got her tickets either at a reduced rate or free, I don’t remember which. I think she’s even going to be attending another of her concerts later this year. The one she went to last year was in Cincinnati and was a whole day event. Her mother went as well, but she’s not very spiritually discerning.

I have never done so voluntarily. :)

The cheerleaders used to dance to “Shake It Off” at football games regularly a few years ago (they probably still do), so I did hear that one a lot back then. It’s a vapid song with about three chords, IMO.

As an older Boomer, I grew up in an era where rock/pop music was considered rebellious. It was considered edgy to have a music collection consisting of say Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Janis Joplin, to name just a few.

You may not have agreed with their politics but 50+ years later, their music is still relevant and listened to.

Madonna may have been the big pop star of the 1980s/1990s but put any one of her albums from that era up against one 1960s album from Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, or Dylan and you aren't even in the same ballpark, musically speaking.

Also, the politics of the 1960s (and even 1970s) was mostly anti-establishment. Not the big government loving establishment shills that most rock/pop artists are today.

Jim Morrison or Johnny Cash would never tell their fans to get vaccinated, wear their masks and fight global warming. Can you even imagine!

“Jim Morrison or Johnny Cash would never tell their fans to get vaccinated, wear their masks and fight global warming.”

Morrison was too busy finding his way..

Well show me the way
To the next whiskey bar
Oh don’t ask why
Oh don’t ask why

Show me the way
To the next whiskey bar
Oh don’t ask why
Oh don’t ask why

For if we don’t find
The next whiskey bar
I tell you we must die
I tell you we must die
I tell you, I tell you
I tell you we must die

No, she’s a freaking POP SINGER like Madonna. And there is no defending that.

Eons ago, when I was a high school teacher ...

One of my students called another student a “geek”.

I objected: That’s disrespectful. A geek is an old-time circus performer in a “wild man” act, who bites the heads off small animals. He doesn’t do that.

A third student piped up: Does that mean Ozzy Osbourne is a geek?

I replied in the affirmative, everybody got a laugh, and we resumed class with no further disruptions.
