ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS are siding with the DEMOCRATS on UKRAINE to support Joe Biden getting elected!
BEJ

The establishment Republicans are sustaining the Ukrainian war till after the election. They are doing so to support Joe Biden getting elected. If they followed common sense, they would realize that throwing money at Ukraine will do noting to win the war. The war is already lost for Ukraine. What it will do is sustain the war till after the election of Joe Biden. Joe Biden can say he stayed the course, he was true to his word.

What these traitors have done:

1) Sided with Joe Biden instead of Donald Trump

2) Thrown away American money on a pipe dream

3) Continue to throw away American money after they realized it was a pipe dream

4) Help install and continue to support a traitor to the Ukrainian people who will destroy his nation rather than have peace talks.

It's the old story of corruption and betrayal by the greasy, sleaze artists like Johnson. Yes, He even looks greasy.

I don't know what Trump is thinking. But the party has already betrayed him.

You’re living in the past, when there was a thing called the USSR. Those days are gone. Russia is a different place today than what it was back in the 70s.

He did exactly what you said! He withdrew his forces from Kiev and the greater part of Ukraine because he was told that Ukraine did not want to negotiate with a gun to its head. They went to Istanbul to have peace talks and a treaty, but that was ruined by Boris Johnson, who came in and told Zelinsky to go to war. Boris was there as a representative of the west.

We’ve been supporting wars all over the world with trillions of dollars that we’ve borrowed for as long as I can remember without even attempting to conserve our own country. Perhaps you should demonstrate your multitasking skills to the uniparty in DC.

LOL! Putin did not withdraw his forces, he was driven out. Nor has he ever suggested that he would withdraw from other parts of Ukraine. Instead, he has declared them to be inalienable parts of Russia.

They went to Istanbul to have peace talks and a treaty, but that was ruined by Boris Johnson, who came in and told Zelinsky to go to war. Boris was there as a representative of the west.

Again, just repeating Russian propaganda. There was no agreement. See this article to learn what really happened at Istanbul. The Russians are past-masters at the propaganda tactic of the big lie, just repeating it over and over until it is treated as if it were true. Do not fall for Russian propaganda, and do not be part of it.

How about not falling for the evil propaganda designed to foment slaughter between Christian brothers when both brothers actually face the same far deadlier third party nemesis.

pro-Putin crowd

See, there you go again. You POS think anyone who doesn't want to barrow money from china to just give to ukraine is pro-putin. That makes you a zeeper freak, and a genuine POS to boot. Certainly not conservative by any definition of the word.

Sensible conservatives are able to multi task on important issues. Dull and stupid political simpletons not so much.

You really are a fos propagandist for Russia.

So now they withdrew from Kiev because they were asked to, so they could negotiate peace??

You’re nothing but an insult to Americans.

In any event, Russia is now F’d.

The one fomenting slaughter between Christian brothers is Vladimir Putin. Talk to him.

No. I’m here to appreciate and engage in conservative thought. That means looking for the truth, which generally you won’t find a lot of in the MSM. I think we should let Russia do its own thing and if it doesn’t want our liberal values, i.e., PRIDE marches, Transgender rights, WOKENESS, etc. that is great! Putin has said he wants to build the family on conservative and traditional values. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen. At least he goes to church on religious days. Zelensky is another kettle of fish. When he is not recording gay dance music videos (that you can see on YouTube) he is making disastrous moves that are destroying his country and millions of his countrymen. As well, Zelensky has also banned or imprisoned priests from the Ukraine Orthodox Church and rival political parties. And he is refusing to have elections in Ukraine. So, in my mind, he is a dictator too. But a far worse one.

The amount of money that was just approved for Ukraine is less than 1% of the federal budget. The hysterics that such a paltry amount is causing suggest that the opposition is not about the money, but about stopping Russia’s takeover of Ukraine.

I agree, Russia should do its own thing IN RUSSIA. They should not be allowed to subjugate another country.

LOL Isn't -all- conscription forced by definition?

Ukraine didn't even start a lot of conscription until late last summer because they had sufficient volunteers. That also accounts for the higher average age: many of the original volunteers joined the army in 2014 after the last invasion. Now they've lowered the draft age from 27 to 23 to increase the manpower pool and allow more troop rotations off the battlefield.

In WWII, even the US Marine Corps had to resort to getting conscripts for the Pacific War.

Well, keep believing that billionaires are not making money stoking the flames of war and sending countless American soldiers to their deaths in some squalid, backward country like Ukraine. Those elite billionaires are donating to Lindsey Graham’s reelection fund so he can stoke the war machine. These globalists have no loyalties, but only to their own class. They don’t care about stupid American soldiers who will give up their lives in some hellhole on earth. Just as long as the military contracts get filled and they get rich. But the American public are catching on, and that is why recruitment is low. So I suggest you open your eye to these shenanigans and get a real education here in Freeperland.

Poles are also Slavs: they would bite Russian's veins out of their necks if given the opportunity.

Pan-Slavism, under big brother Russia's tutelage of course, has been a staple of Russian propaganda for a two centuries. It's like the Nazi's "Pan-Aryanism" that wanted to group together the Scandinavians, Dutch and English under one "Pan-Germanic" grouping under German tutelage.

Most of Ukraine west of the Dnipro spent almost 400 years being acculturated to the West by the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. That's why Ukrainians, even many of the Russian speakers who have been influenced by that culture, are not Russian barbarians.

If Ukraine gets more air defense, Russia's air campaign will have limited ability to suppress much of anything. Even now, apart from glide bombs on the front lines, most of Russia's attacks on civilian infrastructure and apartments seem designed either to coerce a peace settlement or force Ukrainians out of areas the Russians wish to annex, like Kharkov. Those attacks have not had much military effect in the past and I doubt they will in the future either. In fact, they just tend to piss off the population even more.

I've read about supposed great Russian offensives for two years now. They've never materialized.

Well, if Russia came to Mexico and had missiles pointing at America, would you still say that? I think America would go in just like they did in Grenada.

As much as I love America, there is a dark side to the Shining City on the Hill. And that is going into other countries and overturn elections to get what they want. That is the color revolution, and they did that in Ukraine. So far I have heard they did that 13 times in different countries. Spreading democracy by putting in the person they want, which really is a contradiction of democracy. So, you know, nothing is perfect, but good God try to live up to your ideals!
