Both are good. Maybe a dollar or two difference.

The best calzone I ever had was at an eatery (not even a real restaurant) at King of Prussia mall in PA. Many years ago, so it’s probably not there anymore...

I had many really tasty calzones in a small Italian restaurant just outside the one of the gates at Graffenwohr Germany in the early 80s. I used to be able to eat an entire giant size in one sitting. Fomd memories.

Stromboli is an Italian island in the Med.

Calzone is a meat/cheese pastry.

Love them both.

I was one of those who always folded pizza slices even at a very young age.

My husband is Italian descent; he doesn’t think a pizza is any good if you can’t fold it. (Lots of dripping grease is important, too.)

Differences are cosmetic.

I first tasted calzone in a little mom and pop restaurant near Naples in 1978. I am hooked, with house dipping sauce and a wonderful house red wine. Wow, great food.

Both awesome dishes. Ham and Cheese Calzone or a Pepperoni Stromboli are my favs.

A Stomboli, because of its shape is crispy and a Calzone not as much but it is airy.

On paper very similar.

One of the few great things about living in NJ. The best Italian-American food. Sausage and Peppers anyone?

NJ has a lot of variety. Food from pretty much everywhere and so much of it available to be delivered.
