Anh Duy Pham, 26, was charged Thursday in 3rd District Court with three additional counts of attempted murder. He now faces a total of nine counts of attempted murder, a first-degree felony; six counts of failing to stop at an accident with serious injury, a third-degree felony; and three counts of failing to stop at an accident with injury, a class A misdemeanor.

Worked with many of both flavors. There are whole sections of San Jose which are 98% VN. Lotta ARVN types who were fun to talk to - “We go back! We KILL the Communists!!”. Attaboy. Love that rap.
But the comment was really about the fraudulence of the newspaper headlines. “Florida Man” = some guy from Colombia; “California man” = some creep from Oaxaca; etc. It’s a cover up to soften the reality that some SOB from another country just committed another horriffic crime in the US.
