After decades of waging war against impoverished nations with destitute armies, or no standing armies at all, the US has suddenly found itself in a rapidly changing world where peer and near-peer competitors are outpacing it in military capabilities. Many of these capabilities are showing up on the battlefield in places the US has until recently enjoyed relative military superiority.
One area the US has found itself particularly weak in is artillery. The conflict in Ukraine has revealed a variety of shortcomings regarding not only US artillery capabilities, but those of the collective West.

When the cold war ended the military reduced their bullets and bombs buying so dramatically the companies making them would have gone bankrupt they were saved by Congress. But the lack of big buys meant the production capacity decreased.

We know you take umbrage at any info presented without your Uniparty, MIC, Biden Administration seal of approval. The puzzling thing is you don’t get a dime from the MIC for selling out our troops in the field and the American taxpayer like your DC masters do.
The thing about Brian is that he ONLY uses Western sources, and sources considered ‘credible’ by Zeepers, like Politico, for example. It’s all out there, it can all be verified - all Brian does is aggregate what is written by THE WEST.

I couldn’t see the info because Malwarebytes blocked the site, that is why I looked up the site and found it is operated by the Russian intelligence agency SVR.

We have made huge advances in precision and lethality and some moves towards more automation but we are hardly behind Russia or China in our overall abilities.
Cutbacks in funding for artillery ammunition production is our only immediate issue right now.

1. Nothing is visible of the weapon system, so how did you determine that it was a NATO system - other than the Russians saying it was?
2. A breech explosion would have evaporated the guy yanking the lanyard and those guys covering their ears wouldn't be standing there either.
