An excuse to send an update to their annual Xmas newsletter out midyear.

The understatement of the year my friend.......at my age I’ve seen my share of these particular astronomical events....and personally speaking, this one is as boring as all the rest....the only difference is the hype and especially the ridiculous overreaction by some cities and states.

There’s way more mindless lemmings in this country than I thought was ever possible. SMH

It's more ridiculous than that, people who go downtown to eat and post pics of their plates like they are eating atop Mt. Everest or something.

Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart is popular right now. But I will always love this “literal version” of the original video.
