On that, we agree.
“crazier”
Nika Muhl #10 was able to shut down Clark in the first half. It was a good game as was the Iowa LSU game. Other than rugby and the occasional ball game when my frau is watching I do not watch sports. But this has been fun.
Classy with the 3.9 second throw in hitting the Uconn player and going out of bounds.
That happened with 1.1 second left. It was smart play because it assured there wasn't enough time for Connecticut to get any kind of shot.
Yeah, I’ve got nothing good to say about that play (I think it was with 1.1 seconds left).
Didn’t see a tattoo’d arm on the floor all night. It’s nice watching a thug-free basketball game.
Caitlin is a devout Catholic and by all cited accounts a wonderful young woman.

That's really not bad considering how she's being guarded......
I don't like basketball but Clark has certainly gotten my attention. I'm going to try and watch the final this afternoon....
There's only a 1 inch difference in circumference between the women's basketball (28.5") and the men's (29.5")
The women's 3 pt. line is the same as men's, 22 feet.
The diameter of a basketball hoop is 18 inches, which is the same for both men and women.
If everyone could shoot 3 pointers at will, nobody would be driving to the net.
Clark was struggling in the first half. We sat down to dinner, and when I got back to it, Iowa had made quite a comeback. I did see the last minute of so.
I missed all the good stuff!
I personally don't watch sports much anymore. But she sounds like someone who generates excitement with her roundball skills. 🙂
I could’ve recorded it, didn’t think of it, but that’s ok, I’ll make sure I watch the championship.
I may even have to tune in & watch it myself, or record it.
This video angle makes it clear it absolutely should have been called:
Given that Clark routinely is hitting shots from more than 30 feet out, I doubt she'd have much of a problem shooting threes with men's ball.
Something else I was recently made aware of:
When it comes to college basketball, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has slightly different rules for men and women. The NCAA states that the official hoop height for men’s basketball is 10 feet, while the official hoop height for women’s basketball is 9 feet. Again, the NCAA states that the height of the hoop should be measured from the ground to the bottom of the rim.
Nobody wants to acknowledge its because of Clark.
As a side note, SC's center is a 6'7" monster......Wow.
This is the first basketball I've watched in decades and I must say, this one is exciting.
“while the official hoop height for women’s basketball is 9 feet”
I don’t know what your source for that is, but it’s nonsense.
Watched the last 4 minutes. Caitlin Clark will get destroyed in the WNBA. South Carolina is so much better and athletic compared to Iowa.
