Too bad sulfur can't be obtained in any other way. If they did get it from another source, it probably just wouldn't be the same - like dolphin-free tuna.
Tuna just doesn’t taste right without the dolphin in it. )^;
“Sulfur
Sulfur is present in all the cells and extracellular compartments as part of the AAs cystine, cysteine, and methionine. The covalent bonding of sulfhydryl groups between molecules forms disulfide bridges, which are responsible for the tertiary structure of proteins necessary for the function of certain enzymes, insulin, and other proteins. Sulfur is a component of heparin, chondroitin in bones and cartilage, thiamin, biotin, pantothenic acid, and S-adenosyl methionine (SAM-e). It also is a part of glutathione, an important antioxidant.40
Sources of sulfur include animal proteins, legumes, broccoli, and nuts. Sulfur levels are not monitored clinically. No recommended intake has been established.”

There may be a premium for drug maker to buy up cheap bones.

My great grandfather lived to 98, inhaled his cigars and lived during a time when asbestos was one of the secret ingredients.
I think he would agree but maybe we dont have to go quite that far.
If they just switched to eggs then where would the good stories about “the old days” come from?
