Today 100 is yesterday’s 10 or 20.
In the 1976 twenty and a tip. Now a 100 can’t do that.
It’s a bank problem.

My check is direct deposit. When I go shop for incidentals, I use cash. I take $400. every week. The bank always gives me $100 dollar bills. Once in a while I’ll get 2- 50’s. It’s like they want to get rid of them.

Depending on what I need the cash for I get 100s.
Not for use in small business that don’t carry much cash.

- When you look like a robber
- When you can't talk and your note simply says "Place $100 billis in bag."
- After you have bragged to a large group of thugs that you are going into the bank to withdraw a lot of $100 bills.

The article is this rap about how mostly criminals and tax evaders use them... then goes into detail about how you can get them.

Ask the teller to verify the validity of each bill she/he hands over.

$100 bills are a great birthday present for grandchildren. I hand them out all the time.

I used to cash my checks at the bank they were drawn on and they would give me 60+ of them at a time and I never requested them, but was glad to get them as they’re much easier to put in your pocket and walk out.

This is nonsense. If your bank can’t give you hundreds when you want them, probably time to change banks
Never ever had a problem getting 100s from a bank. Oh at peak hours?!? Really let’s make the teller count out even more bills of smaller denominations that will be “faster” for them.
What nonsense

Don’t ask for 20s either. When I worked in a store, I’d have people saying they gave me a 20 when they gave me a 10. Then there was a parking lot attendant who always told people who gave him a 20 that they had given him a 10. By this point, though prices have gone up so high maybe it’s 20s you shouldn’t be taking either.

$100 now is like $10.76 in 1967.
Bring back the $500 and $1,000 notes!
Better yet, bring back the gold standard.

As far back as 1976, an economist named James Henry called for an end to the $100 bill in an article in The Washington Monthly because — even nearly a half-century ago — it was the preferred currency of organized crime and tax evaders almost exclusively.Maybe they are already on the way to doing what they want electronically.

I don’t care. I’ll ask for 100 dollar bills whenever it’s convenient for me...not the bank. This is just propaganda to stop people from taking their money out of the bank after they find out what the government is planning to do with our acccounts.
