I agree with the author that shining the spotlight on this “trick” ahead of time may be able to alter some RINO retirement dates. It is going to be interesting times.

Trump isn’t going to be re-elected. They are making sure of it and covering all their bases. Even if Trump could head off all their tricks they will burn thecountry down and cancel elections before letting him get voted in fairly. There’s only one hope...the return of JEsus Christ to physically rule the world.
If Johnson can’t find it in him to either expel Gallagher or convince him to leave now, then he needs to be threatened with lawsuits by his constituents, the RNC for any campaign money he got, and look for any other petty laws he may have violated - like say, a RICO statute? - in his little Intel Community arranged departure.

Trump was charged and acquitted of inciting an insurrection during his final impeachment. I doubt the Supreme Court will support that a simple majority could do this, especially for a crime for which he was already found not guilty.
