I think the relo company had the property since September. I suspect they had someone cutting the grass, but once it stopped growing, no one was doing anything with the yard, including picking up 'sticks'.
I think we have enough grass for a cow ... this is about 1/3 of the back property, side front yard at the house starts at the top of the hill.

'Our' Apple (maybe, Pear) tree is looking good! My Magnolia has survived our roller coaster Spring weather and should be in bloom by the end of the week.
Heard Sandhill Cranes yesterday morning, and cut my first bouquet of Daffodils for the kitchen table, so we have turned a corner. Yay!
