Lotus seems to be staying the course with its all-electric future, unfortunately. The cars look fantastic, but without the sound of a high-revving internal combustion engine, they’re not Lotuses. Just picked up a Corvette. Have driven the fast Tesla. The Tesla will pin you to your seat, and accelerates more quickly than the Stingray, but it’s an apples to oranges comparison. Without the roar of a V-8, the experience leaves me (almost) completely flat. Akin to a ‘skilled’ lover without soul.
