Dan Bongono is right. It was never Russia-Russia-Russia, it was Ukraine-Ukraine-Ukraine the whole time. And probably hatched in Soetoro’s Oval Office with the help of Brandon, Brennan, and Corney.

My immediate thought was electromagnetic pulse flip. There is one theory that states when this happens that it creates a significant movement of the continental crust resulting in a global tsunami among other things.
There are ripples in the earth far inland in different parts of the world that present as the same patterns you will see develop in sand/earth when a large amount of water quickly passes over the land.
The theory believes that this has happened multiple times in the past. Many animals are more sensitive to EM fields and vibration which is why you’ll see this behaviour present itself prior to regular earthquakes and why they can migrate to the same places unerringly.
So true.
Here’s one potential play....He sales at “fire sale” now. With the coming commercial real estate market collapse - just a matter of time - the prices plummet even further and after his appeal is granted he buys them back at a song.
In either case I’m convinced that he won’t take a loss given he bought them decades ago and the prices have only appreciated.

In the 90ās the box tones were still going strong.
I hung out on an underground BBS with loads of interesting folks and a mountain of information. I was chatting with a dude in open text one evening, he was just hanging out playing around with his box software and a wardialer (way to rapidly run through phone numbers to find computers and answering machines and other interesting numbers). A noob came in bugging folks about where was all the 3L33t actionā¦
So I posted back to him that if he wanted the dankest of knowledge he was going to have to go through *679-113-4776.
I am reading something or other, and the guy I was chatting with is not around for about a half hour and pops back in with āYOU MFerā and I was all what???
HE dialed up my noob troll and had spent the previous 30 or so minutes explaining to the cops that he wasnāt punking them and didnāt have an emergency.
I told him didnāt think heād fall for that and he was laughing by then, he just ran with it without thinking. *67 disables āautomatic number IDā (but doesnāt work on 911 or 800 numbers, so when it is followed by 911 you look like a sneaky idiot)
911 - self evident
3-4776 just some filler trash numbers š¤£
That was on the old NirvanaNet, my local node was &TOTSE, The Temple Of The Screaming Electron. That node was powered by about a dozen 286ās in a guys closet all pushing sub 56.6Kb modems. Interesting times, whole system filled with arcane knowledge/Deeeeep rabbit holes. I learned mountains there, still have 3 ring binders with stuff I printed outā¦
I think I still have the bulk of alt2600ās e-zines on 3.5 inch floppy disks.
Well said. And, no, you do not sound too harsh.
Francisco D'Anconia had spent a fortune on the San Sebastian copper mines in the Peoples State of Mexico. Then the Mexican communist government nationalized the mines along with Taggart Transcontinental's rail line out of El Paso that fed it. The seizure set off a Wall Street panic that led to another great depression, which occupies the remainder of the book.
When the Mexican government got into the San Sebastian mines, it discovered that there was no copper to begin with. Because the seized mines were the centerpiece of Mexico's five-year plan, the nationalization was a disaster for the Mexican communist government.
Dagny Taggart, using her stern, no-nonsense judgment, figured out that Francisco's target was his American investors, who had begged to come aboard based on nothing but his name and track record of success. The seizure of the mines and rail line would lead via a series of financial disasters to the destruction of Associated Steel, Taggart Transcontinental, Wyatt Oil and eventually the rest of the American economy.
Martin Armstrong in this post at his website is urging companies based in New York state to relocate to states where the rule of law still exists. Considering that New York City is the most important financial center on the globe, he is urging those companies to establish a new global financial center elsewhere in the country. I'm thinking Omaha, Oklahoma City or Dallas.
“...this has happened multiple times in the past...”
