Judge McAfee’s Ruling Big Win For Team Trump

Let’s all take a deep breath, and think about the long-term results of Judge McAfee‘s opinion versus what the knee-jerk thinking is among the conservative podcasters.

In my opinion, this may very well be a big win for Trump and the other defendants. For one thing, if Fanny stays on the case, that means she will need to answer questions regarding not only her indiscretions, lies, and other prosecutorial irregularities., She will also have to respond to why she went to DC and met with the Biden administration, Kamala Harris, and the DOJ. Nathan Wade, now is a possible witness.

On the other hand, if she takes herself off the case, then now you have the incompetent, Nathan Wade, or someone worse is in charge of things, and Fanny and her entire office may be in the witness seat.

In addition, Judge McAfee, removed the meat of the case, by dropping the six counts. The prosecutors now will have to go before another grand jury if they want to rewrite these indictments.

In addition, this whole soap opera is going to be delayed for months, certainly after the election.

I’m sure other people in this form will list many other reasons why this could very well be a win for the Trump team.

In addition, I think this was a pretty clever verdict by The Judge. He comes down as being impartial. In fact, looking like overly ruling in favor of Fanny and her while bf. On the other hand, he has put some obstacles in front of them if they choose to go forward.

Should Trump appeal the verdict? I don’t know. It doesn’t sound like Fanny and her boyfriend are in the clear. To the contrary, I think they have some explaining to do not only to the Georgia Bar and the ethics committee in Georgia but also to Congress and beyond.

I welcome your thoughts.

I’m calling BS. There are lawyers and judges; and there is justice. The American people need some justice.
This spineless crap-weasel ruling is not justice, in case I wasn’t clear.

Right. There is an association, but it’s not mandatory that they take action, is it?

How do they “get” a case? If they notice a violation, can the association itself start proceedings, or does it have to be presented by another entity? Like SCOTUS.

Thank you! I was wondering about process.

Jim Jordan’s big fat threat is a frickin’ joke. Ooo... a subpoena from Congress. I’m sure Fani is terrified.

BUT ..

The other two could be very interesting!

Wade’s ex’s ethics complaint has some meat on it. Now she and her attorney know there was a lot of perjury going on in the divorce case.

And I’m glad a watchdog group is pursuing this with the state Bar.

She’s STILL under investigation by the GA Senate. What happens when they subpoena those 12,000 text messages and find that she did INDEED perjure herself????

Small victory for Trump but not a big one. Fanni is never going to argue this case in front of a jury, staff will do that so her credibility will not be a huge issue. It was a bad decision. Two liars telling the same lies and the judge lets one of them decide who will take the fall. I am not sure Trump can appeal it before the trial but if he can he should. He should also keep black women off the jury (and white ones too) to the extent possible. Black men under 30 won’t like how this went down and will be more sympathetic towards Trump as a result.

Fanni and Wades legal problems probably have not ended and the judge can forget about ever being raised to the federal bench.

"They be shackin’, and Georgia still has ‘common-law’ marriages............."

I'll bite: Your actually saying that although Wade was still married to his first wife, he would be covered by common law marriage to Getto Fani, and wife exception at THE SAME TIME?

I have to call Bull Droppings on that line of thought.

It is beginning to look like The Trump Curse indicates that he has the Divine involved in his path to Make America Great Again. Perhaps “manifest destiny” is a reality once again.

Just found out that Georgia only recognizes common-law marriages from before a certain date, back in the 90’s. My brother-in-law and his wife, now legally married, were common-law-marriage in Georgia, from back in the 80’s, so they were technically covered. Anybody after that date is just ‘co-habitating’ as they say...........
