The left uses an arsenal of emotional arguments to keep the poor under their thumbs.

They tell the poor that the government is taking care of them. In reality, they give just enough to survive; the poor don’t get to participate in middle class luxuries like travel.

They tell the poor that if Democrats are not in charge, the government will take away everything they have.

They tell the poor that the rich are greedy and steal from the poor. The “rich” are anyone in the middle class and above.

They tell the poor that only rich people can go to college. They do this to discourage poor people from trying to better themselves.

And they tell the poor that Republicans are the embodiment of evil.

I was raised in this belief system. Only when I threw away the leftist indoctrination did I become successful. It wasn’t easy. When I challenge leftists, I try to make them think about their ingrained beliefs. They can only change if they start to doubt.
