The city of Denver is shutting several of its migrant shelters and officials are asking local property owners to house some of the “newcomers” who need a place to stay...
“A lot of those posts have now been replaced by, hey, I now need to furnish my apartment, what do I do? And so it’s a good problem to have when that’s what you’re running into,” Ewing said...
The move comes after a Massachusetts couple last month volunteered to take in illegal immigrants and was surprised when a family of four showed up at the doorstep less than an hour after signing up. Earlier this year, Johnston predicted that the migrant crisis would cost the city around $180 million. He previously told Fox News that the city was “very close” to a breaking point due to the crisis and announced the city was cutting $5 million from public services while pinning the blame on Republicans and former President Donald Trump.

Mayor Johnston assures us that the "newcomers" are not here because of Brandon's open border nor Denver's sanctuary city policy but because of Republicans and Trump.
So if you are Republican and/or voted for Trump the "newcomer" crisis is all your fault and you need to make amends by taking these poor people in.
How many of these LEADERS have taken these visitors into their homes? ASK each of them.
ORDER all City Employee’s to take 3 or 4 into their homes to feed and care for or be FIRED, that includes you Mayor.
Why is Denver closing those shelters? Sounds like bad planning to me, I.e. don’t close the shelters until replacement facilities are available.
Good God! I need some dental care badly! (going to cost me thousands!) But these illegal aliens get it all for free? Tree of Liberty time if Trump is kept out of the Oval office...open season on anyone who continues to undermine our republic.
Today they plead, tomorrow they demand, next week it’s a court order
Maybe Trump should start floating the idea that when he is re-elected, that All States with any Sanctuary Policies or Cities with Sanctuary policies regarding Federal Laws shall not receive ANY Federal Funds of any kind...
I’d welcome a homeless U.S. veteran before an illegal “newcomer.”
So, if I was a Denver property owner, could I kick out my American renters and replace them with illegals at twice the price, paid for by the government? /s
It’s just like with Pope Francis. He constantly preaches that countries must accept any and all immigrants. House them and feed them.
Now here’s the thing. There is plenty of room in the Vatican gardens for an immigration center. And as we all know, the Vatican is very wealthy. They’ve got money in the bank and treasures in the buildings.
Yet the Vatican accepts no one.
Boy is Denver in for a surprise.
beat me to it. had to deal with a squatter once. lucky we “know a guy”. not sure where he disappeared to.
“We’ve got kind of a rent cap — $2,000,”
It’s not clear if that’s $2,000 total or $2,000 per “newcomer”.
So a three bedroom apartment with three “newcomers” in each room could potentially net you $18,000 if it’s per “newcomer”.
Let’s see if any American family can match that rent.
Money printer goes brrrrrrrr...
They’re mostly hypocrites, the lot of them.
Illegal newcomers
I think Bergolio had one family of small people who didn’t take up much room or eat much over to stay the night.
Snapped a few pics and its the last we heard of THAT.
Once the fools take them in,how do they get them out? I suspect they can’t by liberal law.
Well said.

I think he already tried that and lost in court during his first term
